This is my personal favorite H-E-B because despite it being smaller than the H-E-B Plus stores, they always carry what I need and the customer service is superb.

11/30: First, the barbacoa was super greasy!! I don’t understand why so much oil is used in making it. I am not sure if it is made in house or contracted out but either way, today’s was nasty. I grew eating it never tasted so greasy nor was there oil sitting in the bottom of the small it was served in. Second, whoever the marketing or customer/consumer research person obviously doesn’t know his customer base. For the last 3 visits, there has been no 10-ct tortilla packs, only 30 ct. I don’t need to purchase the 30ct, when the 10ct is sufficient!! Even one of the store employees was upset because the store manager wasn’t checking this problem. They should provide more for the customers, not everyone wants that many tortillas!! But unless they want you spend money on HEB brand. The other brand is easier to heat up and store. The manager needs to check which sells more and faster, the 10 or 30 count packs. The lady at the small stand was always very friendly and apologetic for the lack of 10ct. Orale pinche!! Get it right and order mas 10 ct packages and tell the persons making the barbacoa to take easy on the 10-50W!! This is my favorite HEB!! 🙏🏽✝️❤️

HEB is probably one of the nicest supermarket chains in Texas. The staff are kind and welcoming. There is a high degree of professionalism and that is certainly appreciated. While some products may be pricer than at other chains, the quality and the experience you get at HEB is certainly worth the premium you pay. I highly recommend HEB!

I have been shopping at this store since I have moved here and honestly just feel so uncomfortable with what feels like obvious surveillance from employees in the store. Constantly being followed by the same people through the entirety of the store. Also, I tend to do regular checkout instead of self checkout because of the way some of the employees just hover, specially the older lady with the teased hair and bangs. Absolutely rude. I went in today 11/21 at 9:00 am and she was hassling me about a single sweet potato. In a condescending tone she kept telling me how to use the self checkout. I let her know that I was fully capable of checking myself out and she proceeded to hover and watch me. Then the very tall manager came down the stairs by the bathrooms to obviously see what the issue was. They try to be so slick but are so obvious. Just because someone looks different, dresses different or has tattoos does not warrant for you to follow them around a store. We are human, we make our own money and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
