Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The girl who took my order was nice and respectful. However, the wait was very long—over 20 minutes. I had to call to ask about my food, and just seconds later they brought it out. Unfortunately, the girl who delivered the food was very rude, which really took away from the experience.

Ordered on the app and set it to pick up about 10 minutes later. Arrive 6 minutes into the 10-minute window the app provides as the option following ASAP; drive thru wasn't an option 🤷♀️ and I don't see #s on parking spots, so I chose the 'check in without a #' option in the app and select the appropriate identifiers (car, black). I waited for 10+ minutes and no order in sight. But lots of customers leaving and someone inside cleaning. WHY didn't I go inside earlier, you may ask. I was being patient, figuring they just finished a rush in the dining room and would be right out. They weren't. At 909pm, I finally have my order because I walked IN the store after seeing someone who arrived well after me walk out with an order. While the inside staff was nice enough, they were not bright bulbs during my encounter. Someone (idk if employee or food deliverer bc of a jacket) told me the numbered parking was on the other side of the building. OK, but app let me check in w/o a # and with a vehicle description, so they should have looked gone out and looked fot that. (Seemed like a common sense move to me, so perhaps it was my bad they didn't have enough between 3 employees - one looking very managerial 🤷♀️.) She said they did look - on the usual, numbered side, but not the side where I was actually was. I say they clearly should've checked the other side of the building if someone has checked in and there isn't a vehicle matching the description on their 'usual' side. Nobody was apologetic at all, though the dasher/employee person on the customer side of the counter was trying to give me the rundown of their procedure and what they see on the screen. I don't work there, I don't live in this town, this is not my regular whataburger, so it wasted mouthful. If employees can't see the information from their side of the restaurant, then the softwarethe company is using needs refining, not the customer. The cashier asked if I needed any sauces, and I told her the two that I had put in the order, and she had to go get them. I walk over to try to grab napkins but there are none on the customer side so again I have to ask for stuff that should have been already included in the bag. I'm glad this is not one of the many Whataburgers in my town. I guess I have been spoiled.

First time at a whataburger and it wasn't pleasant. Drink was delicious but definitely not worth the food poison I got from the food and the yelling I received from an employee when I asked "what?" Cause she was speaking like she was in a auction house and she was the auctioneer. The drink was amazing so thats why I gave 3 stars on the food. Also they made me wait 20-30 minutes for food
