The quality of food has improved drastically since Papa's bought out On the Border!! The service was excellent, overall great place to have lunch or dinner with the family. I highly recommend the primo queso and beef fajitas.

Food was absolutely not good. Rice was mushy, beans were like soup. My wife had the shrimp tacos with some kind of barbecue type sauce that was just overloaded on it. One of those places that the food taste totally different when you eat inside the restaurant then when you get takeout, probably won’t be back and we’ve eaten it on the border for the last 10 years.

We went on a Wednesday during a fajita special. Beautiful outdoor outdoors, we asked to sit on the patio. Our server did her best, it seemed as though she was overloaded. The food was fine, nothing great. The chicken fajitas were very dry. The restaurant had a designated smoking area at the gate, opening of the patio. I’m thinking there’s no way this is within code for Mansfield and if it is, it is enough reason for us to never return. No one should be subjected to cigarette smoke, much less while they are trying to pay money to eat somewhere. 🤮🤮

Food was sub par they got rid of their classic salsa. The beef enchiladas were bland my girlfriend got the chicken nanchos they were served almost cold the queso was lukewarm they sat us in the back corner next to the take outdoor where all the servers were gathering talking And being on their phones since they got bought out, i'm very disappointed. We'll not be going there again.

The food has gone downhill some and the price has gone up quite a bit. I couldn't figure out why on a Friday night it wasn't full in the restaurant. Maybe it's because of the two things I just mentioned
