Terrible service. Walked in at 7:25 on a Saturday, host said we can put our name down on a reservation, it’ll be a 25 min wait. Okay that’s fine. She takes our name/ number down. We wait in the car a whole 35 mins, walk in and ask how many more minutes. Apparently a new host is in the front & says there’s no reservation under that name, but he can get us seated. I’m like? what do you mean there’s no reservation? Nope. None. None taken. She literally lied putting our names/ number down. Awesome! Doesn’t matter, he says we can get seated now. The same hostess who “put in our reservation” is right next to us cleaning a table. No biggie. We sit for 15 whole minutes they’re just cleaning empty tables around us no one has came to us to even ask about drinks. There’s about 5 empty tables near us and i look around seems like every other table already has food eating. I make eye contact with both the new host who seated us( he’s just standing up looking around btw) and the host who previously “made” our “reservation” and still nothing. We walked out. By that time it’s almost 9 pm and we wasted almost 2 hours here. For no reason. Thanks for the service! We went to texas roadhouse and got warm appetizers & drinks by the time we even sat down instead. Don’t waste your time here.

Hwy 287 in Mansfield, TX. Took 1hr 15min to received a skimpy salad. Half a bowl with only 4 small string pieces of cheese in it. Ordered a 12oz ribeye steak cooked medium came wrong. It was covered in mushroom/sauce. Server took it back. 5 min later I then recieved a 12oz Ribeye barely cooked just over rare. Spent $42.31 with a mandatory $6.60 tip since I was with a large group. I will never go to any Saltgrass again.

We went today for my birthday. I always love some saltgrass. The place was clean bathroom on other hand was a mess and one stall out of order. Our waitress Cindy maybe spelled wrong was super friendly and professional. We had the ribs and chicken combo sirloin tips with Mac and cheese they came out with mushrooms and asked for no mushrooms. I had the filet as always really didn't have any flavor to the steak and it was on tough side. Mozzarella bites were awesome as usual. Love the bread. Potato soup was nice and hot. Every saltgrass is not the same with food being good. Atmosphere was quiet and good vibe going.

THE GRINCH WHO RIUNED MY CHRISTMAS MEAL !
My steak was overcooked. The waitress said that someone would come to speak to me and would also do a remake. The table behind me had the same issue, they chose to go ahead and eat it. I did try to eat my steak. I took 3 bites, but it was too tough. Reluctantly I agreed to go ahead and do a do-over. The waitress came back, yes it was overcooked, and that someone would come speak to me, and that my ticket was first in line. 25 minutes later no one came to speak to me. By then the rest of my party had finished eating. The waitress came back and asked if I wanted it to go because they were boxing it to go, I agree. At this point why not ? It's late and and everyone has finished eating and we are all just sitting there waiting. I am truly disappointed that the anticipation of getting my steak like I ordered it, is no longer an option.
I was surprised when I got the ticket, there was no discount for the inconvenience nor was a gift card offered. The manager never came to speak to me. The food was bagged and handed to me. No one asked me to check to see if my steak was cooked correctly.
I feel jipped , I paid full price for a meal I was never able to eat it.
I did bring the bag of food home, but you cannot enjoy a steak and potatoe that are now cold and have to be reheated. The pleasure of enjoying a good hot steak diminished. I gave it to my dog and trashed the rest.
I am Highly disappointed! I paid full price for a meal I was never able to enjoy. I did give the waitress a $20 tip, she did give good service.
I am not a a reward member, but I do frequent the place. I also bring friends and family when they visit.

Honestly one of the worst dining experiences in a long time. The food was halfway decent otherwise it would could have been a two but the song and dance at the end ensured it wasn't... The utter confusion over a simple meal was rediculous. Ordered one simple steak and shrimp combo with broccoli, as well as a ribeye steak meal with brussel sprouts both with potato soup! My approximately 2" diameter '6oz' bacon wrapped filet was delivered to the table and announced as bacon wrapped filet with grilled shrimp but without any shrimp on the plate! The server stated oh, I'll have to bring those shrimp! The three spears of broccoli were nothing to write about but they tasted fine and the filet was decent. My husband's steak was served with an announcement of ribeye with baked potato. I immediately stated that he had ordered brussel sprouts and potato soup, not a baked potato. The server who brought the food said I will go tell the waitress! Ultimately I waited @ 10 MORE minutes for shrimp that were not an add on but actually a part of the meal combo they offer and my husband still didn't have his brussel sprouts. Ultimately it was a manager who brought my shrimp and I mentioned to him that we still didn't have the brussel sprouts! He said he would go take care of that immediately. Then about 5 to 10 minutes later the waitress comes back with an order of brussel sprouts, as she sits them on the table she says would you all be wanting dessert tonight? No, honestly,I would prefer to actually eat my food before deciding if I want more! .....my husband begins eating his food and another 5 minutes or so goes past and the manager comes back with another orderof brussel sprouts! Then the waitress comes back and says I'm going to take that potato off the bill and asks to remove the potato from the table! After the second order of brussel sprouts comes out she comes back to the table and says oh they brought you another brussel sprouts and asks does he want them or can she take them back. Now through all of this I've been barely eating all my food waiting for my husband to get all of his and as she asked if she can take back the second order of brussel sprouts she reaches over to grab my plate and says can I take this now or do you want a box? It still had half of my steak on the plate, half of the broccoli, and 3/4 of the shrimp that I had waited on. I told her no thank you, I'm still working on it! She leaves and returns almost immediately with a check. My husband is busy eating his meal and doesn't immediately deal with the check. She returns to the table a few minutes later and asks is this ready for me? I say no he hasn't had a chance to deal with that yet and she says NO RUSH, but STANDS THERE at the table WAITING! Ultimately he hands her his credit card without even looking at the bill! When she returns and he goes to sign the check I look at the bill and see that they have billed separately us for the brussel sprouts which were supposed to be his included side! Eventually he sees her calls her back over to the table asks why he was being billed for the side that was supposed to be included and she responds with I don't know I'll have to ask a manager how to take that off! Several minutes later the manager comes back to the table singing some song and dance about how inventory purposes required that it be put on there and that he was planning on taking it off but she rang the check up before he did that! When he comes back he has a second check now minus the brussel sprouts that he has somehow run under the credit card that we have in our possession???? He explains why he did I stated honestly now it looks like we're being billed twice for the same meal. He goes back through the whole thing again and tells me it's just going to be a pending charge but it'll never actually go through. The interesting news of that is that my bank doesn't care if it's pending or not my bank shows it as a charge until it falls off eventually! After all is said and done the manager asks if we want dessert to go as if that will make it better! SMH
