I had to go to Manor for work today, and was super excited to get some Bojangles Fried Chicken, which i get every time that i travel to NC. Unfortunately, when I arrived, i discovered that this location only serves chicken tenders, not full pieces of chicken. While the tenders were flavorful, they were lukewarm. Service was fast, but the dine-in atmosphere was definitely negatively impacted by the line supervisor Who was VERY loudly barking orders at the rest of the staff and the fact that the men’s room door kept sticking open, the paper towel dispenser was empty, and the toilet paper roll just sitting on top of the dispenser instead of properly installed in the dispenser. Given that this is a newly opened location, these should not be issues.

It's very interesting about how optional literacy and accuracy is to the morning kitchen staff of Bojangles. I ordered a total of six items: a chicken biscuit with bacon and cheese, a steak biscuit with bacon and egg, two bo'tato sides, and an unsweetened tea and a sweetened tea. What I got was a chicken biscuit with bacon and egg (no cheese but added an egg which I didn’t ask for), a steak biscuit with bacon and egg (correct), two bo'tato sides (some of the potatoes were finely cooked, others were burned hard), and a diet coke and a sweetened tea (c’mon). Really disappointing for the Bojangles crew. Not sure if I'm going to order again. Do better.

I haven’t had Bojangles since I was a kid living in North Carolina, so when I heard a new location opened in Austin, I had to make the trip—and it did not disappoint! I drove in and dined at the restaurant, and everything about the experience was great. The place was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive—especially Amy and Darius. While I was there, I noticed how enthusiastically they greeted customers, took orders, and even shared some laughs with both guests and coworkers. It really created a welcoming atmosphere. The food came out quickly, and everything was hot and crispy. I also loved the portion sizes for the dipping sauces—I had to try them all! I truly hope this location can maintain this level of service going forward. I’ll definitely be back.

My family and I were very excited to try out the chicken. We saw all the reviews / posts on the chicken and biscuits were honestly let down. This place is definitely overrated. We went around 8pm when we entered the restaurant it was quiet no one in there besides 1 customer picking up food and employees. I went placed our order had quick service there but then went and sat down just to wait about 20 minutes to get a 12 piece tender meal. While waiting all you see is employees playing around going back and forth from back kitchen to dining area getting drinks sitting at tables chatting laughing and having a good time. By the time we got the food our tea was missing as well as the bo biscuits & all but one napkin dispenser had napkins in it. Now on to the food. The chicken was slightly burnt. The Mac & Cheese had no flavor, fries were overly salty. I think the best thing was the biscuits though they needed some honey or butter to make it less dry. Overall I we werent impressed...& I doubt we will go back.

Chick Fil A this place is not! This place seems hit or miss based on reviews. Depends on the day you go I assume. I don’t know though, I just feel as a brand new business, you would think the manager/owner would be steadfast in its opening months of making sure this place was running like a well oiled machine. I just had lunch at the newly opened Mexican Sugar this past week (I know, two totally different businesses) and it was night and day how anal they were about making sure their opening was compared to how this location is. Maybe the owner is banking on the Bojangles brand carrying them past pedestrian service or that Manor’s population will put up with average service but idk…I don’t know if this crowd in Texas will accept this as the standard. I made an online order from home, took a solid 20 minutes to make it to Bojangles, and still had to wait another 20+ minutes for my order. There was a Sunday afternoon rush, yes, but I mean it wasn’t like a line was out the building or anything. The workers though to their credit were fine. I see some reviews saying the workers don’t care, I didn’t get that sense. But there was no urgency at all. They seem, only two months into opening, already complacent with slow service. The employees were nice though. Though it was a funny visual seeing two employees go on break with fresh Bojangles in their hands and eating at a table while annoyed customers were in line waiting for their food. I’m not trying to rag on them or anything. But compared to Chick Fil A employees where they act like they will lose their job if a customer is waiting more than 10 minutes, this place is…yeah. The food was solid, not anything I’m in a rush to return for though. The biscuits are the highlight. I can bet all the agitated customers who were in line won’t be in a rush to return either. Based on other reviews, it doesn’t seem like a sustainable business to me but we’ll see. Maybe this place will improve over time…I can only hope the manager/owner cares because based on the consistency of similar reviews as mine, they seem content with this being the standard quo. I’m still bewildered though that this location already seems content with slow service just two months into opening.
