  Lots of choices for.prepared meals, decent fruit and vegetable selection. App is a little strange to use as it let's you add payment method but you can't use it to pay (according to the cashier). Apparent you have to "clip" coupons in the app. Would rather just pay less overall as prices were a bit high overall. Still it's only the 2nd time shopping at a HEB, might take a bit to adjust.

  You can NEVER go wrong with an HEB. They have a fantastic selection, and their store brand products are literally the best. NOBODY else has a store brand cane sugar soda. I wish more stores were as good as HEB

  Absolutely unacceptable experience at the Magnolia location (13663 FM 1488). I was shopping with my trained service dog, who assists with crowd control and panic attack alerts. In the dairy aisle, a child suddenly ran toward us, and my dog barked once in response. He was fully leashed, under control, and I immediately picked him up. A blonde, white male employee who appeared to be around 6 ft tall aggressively told me to leave the store immediately and continued following us all the way out, making me feel intimidated, unsafe, and extremely uncomfortable. The way this was handled was completely inappropriate and could have easily triggered a panic attack. The situation became so distressing that I was forced to call the police. This treatment toward a customer with a service dog is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of staff training regarding ADA rights. Management needs to address this immediately.

  I usually have zero issues with this HEB aside from it being insanely crowded every weekend (which is of no fault of HEB) but, yesterday while trying to get out as fast as possible before I have a full-blown panic attack or finally lose it on rude people just standing in middle of aisle with cart blocking everyone from getting by, I went to grab some fruit and maybe I'm wrong but, was that COVID TESTING BEING DONE by the produce?! That is absolutely something that should be done by pharmacy. Lastnight I started feeling bad, got chills and cold sweats and this morning I'm very nauseous. I HOPE I'm wrong because only absolute idiots would set up a covid testing center BY FOOD. If I am wrong, I will gladly delete review.

  I really love H-E-B especially the flagship. H-E-B is incredible. They are so prepared that they have a disaster response team (which the federal government does not have) whenever we have hurricanes, they have staged fulfillment trucks at various locations outside of Huston to supply right after the hurricane subsides. Moving from another part of the country and learning about this makes me super happy because there is at least one organization that understands the importance of that. Also, the rare time that it snowed I remember that they had laid down salt in the parking lot to prevent icing. That is super smart and also somebody must’ve come with that idea from the northeast to have parking ice/salts saved so that it would be available for that this rare circumstance. And the variety of options in the store are phenomenal and they always are clean and helpful.
