Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I hate this location. I'm no longer available to visit this location anymore. I'm having issues with my food. It's moldy.

I had one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant at this Whataburger on 2/16/2026 around 11PM. I placed a mobile order and asked at the drive‑thru for the one of the condiments on my sandwich to be placed on the side since the app doesn’t allow that option. Instead of a simple “yes” or “no,” I was met with immediate attitude and was told the sandwich was “already made,” which was impossible because I had submitted the order seconds earlier with modifications. When I reached the window, I asked for either the sandwich to be made the way I would like it or a refund. The manager on duty refused both. When I asked why the sandwich couldn’t simply be remade if it was in fact already done, she responded with, “What’s so hard about ordering your food right.” That level of disrespect from a manager is completely unacceptable. I asked for their name multiple times and the manger refused to provide their name and walked away. She then made me sit at the window for 10 minutes before telling me that if I didn’t want the food now sitting there for over 15 minutes I needed to leave the line. I drove around and went inside, and she attempted to ignore me entirely. Another employee confirmed she was the manager. When I again asked for my refund, she walked away without acknowledging me. I left with no food and no refund, after being treated with hostility, dishonesty, and a complete refusal to provide basic customer service. I know this is just a fast food restaurant, but nobody should be treated like this and have to talk away without their food or refund. This was essentially theft.
