- CPCj PazAug 11, 20231.0H.E.B is our favorite grocery store by far and we love the customer service and things they do for there communities and charities. This flaming bird that we bought today was absolutely terrible. The meat was so dry we couldn't even eat it. The sausage was bad as well but at least after removing the skin it was edible. Rice and beans were good as was the jalapeno and onions. It was only 6pm and we drove from San Antonio to get some as they used to be delicious. We will not be making a trip back to this store , if we didn't live 30 minutes away I would have brought it back. Not for a refund but to show what was served to us .
