- GRGetting RealApr 18, 20264.0Y'all these people are sweet and helpful. It's not big enough to carry everything which they can't help but I wish corporate would. My main issue is this locations over bagging. It's crazy. They fill the bag to the top. Crushed produce. Cans ripping the bag bc there's ten in there and they alllll do it like it's a rule. I get to the car and I'm trying to rearrange everything so I can get it inside without it being destroyed but I don't have enough bags to fix it. I'd bring my own bags but reusable bags are so big they would crush more things and not less. I don't understand why using three or four more bags would cost them so much money.

I was in a busy line and felt rushed by the teller, while another employee behind me (who appeared to be off the clock and purchasing items) seemed visibly annoyed that I had placed my basket on the belt. Between the overly forced “Have a great dayyyy” from the teller and the employee behind me loudly saying “Ok BYEEE” as if I wasn’t standing right there - wasn’t what I’d call customer service. It honestly felt like I was caught in the middle of employees who were more focused on each other than having any awareness. I’ll also note that the manager who was bagging seemed kind, but the situation overall lacked professionalism. I wasn’t aware that leaving items in a basket on the belt would cause frustration based on previous great experiences at other HEBs, but regardless, the choice to be snooty rather than kindly asking to remove my items was unwarranted. Hoping this was just an off moment, but it definitely didn’t reflect a positive first experience.
