Wish the powers that be would have given them more options for locations but look at them expanding and making it work. We love HEB
- PNPaul NolanMar 28, 20265.0This review is about the HEB "Texas Boil House" seafood stand in the front of the store on weekends. Today I visited this for the first time and was really impressed with the quality of the shrimp as well as the price. The young men out front boiling the seafood and greeting the customers were friendly and worked fast. The lead guy, Branson, was customer focused and personable. It looked like he took pride in his work. His coworker Derek did a great job getting us rang up and explaining the prices. They were also willing to ring up the plants that my wife picked up while we were outside waiting on our seafood. (The wait was only about 7 minutes.) The shrimp are big size, clean fresh and already deveined. (Check out the pictures). The crawfish, the shrimp, and the corn and potatoes are all nicely separated so you can buy poundage of all of the various items as you select. Not to mention, the area around the stand and the equipment were clean and nicely arranged. As someone that grew up near Galveston, seafood and the ocean run in my blood and bring back so many memories of my childhood and earlier days. This is so nice having this at my local HEB. I will be back!
