- JWJ WilliamsApr 18, 20261.0Bloody undercooked fried chicken breast at the hot food deli was sold at 11am 4/16/2026. There was still blood throughout the chicken (see pic). Prices are always high compared to HEB and Walmart. Only sale prices match the other grocery stores in Lubbock. Cashier didn’t know how to use register and was not apologetic for making me wait a long time for someone to show her what to do. Register didn’t even have cash in it. They don’t properly train cashiers here. Also, the employees in the deli and bakery just stand around talking to each other or doing other stuff with their backs to customers standing in line. I have to say excuse me every single time to get their attention and help with food. They’re there to serve food, not socialize. I always have issues at this grocery store and won’t be returning to Market Street!

Still there are some products that should not be in that section, but I like that they are trying. This is the only grocery store that I actually enjoy. I wish that Albertson's leadership would invest in their community and eliminate toxic ingredients sold in their store... taking them off the shelf permanently...maltodextrin, sodium benzoate, carrageenan, Red 40, etc. Staff always seems friendly though and store always appears to be clean.

- SSShelbyMar 13, 20265.0The assistant manager Isaiah went above and beyond tonight to help in the bakery when there was not anyone in that section for the night. I was a bit of a pain coming by so late, but he was nothing but overly kind and helpful. Three cheers!
