- ADAaron dApr 19, 20261.0My daughter warned me: "do NOT go to the Krispy Kreme in Lubbock. It's literally the worst." And it was. Midday the donuts were cold, shriveled and so stale I still have trouble believing they were baked that morning. I've had KK donuts the afternoon after I bought them and they were ok. These were painfully gross. And clearly they hear that often. The guy helping me got ugly with me when I asked for fresher donuts then snipped that I could come back at 4p when them made another batch. Maybe if you get them off the conveyer as they're making them you can verify the freshness, but between the disgusting ring they called a donut and the unusually rude service, I would heed my daughters warning. I do NOT recommend this location.

The service was poor, and it felt like the staff was not attentive at all. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was shocked by the state of the place-it looked dirty and unkempt. The overall lack of cleanliness made me uncomfortable, to the point where I didn't even want to eat the donuts I had just ordered. I really expected better.
