It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I found out the Whataburger near me was 24/7 so at 5:00 a.m. one morning I went for a cup of coffee. The lady poured me a cup and hand it to me with a great big smile on her face with both hands I received the cup and look down at my wallet laying on the counter I said how much is that? She said, “oh I gave you a senior coffee." I hope senior coffee didn't mean weak because you're old because I like mine black as night. But she wiped the counter where she was and went back to work and I looked around and there was an old man sitting in the corner so I asked him if she had given me the cup because I looked homeless? He told me that a senior cup is a free cup of coffee for anyone 60 years or older. The coffee wasn't bad I would even say good put on random mornings when I get up at the butt crack of dawn it's nice to know I can go get a free cup of coffee. I went back a few mornings later and tried the butter chicken biscuits... I tripled my order. Those are so delicious. Best breakfast idea I've ever seen in Texas. I like their burgers they are my favorite burgers but they're good burgers. But biscuits and chicken and tacos (tacos are pretty good, they sell more in the right next door to Taco Bell) found a reason to Whataburger.

    Ordered online for curbside pickup got to the location checked in and still waited an additional 40 minutes for 3 burgers. Finally got off and our order was sitting g there and the guy at the counter grabbed the bags and out them in a plastic bag and said thank you! Food was definitely cold onion rings were cold! Worst service ever along with customer service!!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

    We ordered two sandwiches, a patty melt and BBQ chicken finger sandwich. Told to pull up, nothing that unusu. But then we watched THREE cars get their food behind us and leave, before we got our order. Which was edible, but the Texas toast was soggy and the chicken fingers overcooked. Definitely not worth the $20.
