I had a bad experience at the United on 82nd, but the United on 4th and slide was convenient. What a difference! Every employee was friendly and helpful. Tyrek was my cashier. He was personable and patient. In a world where many service workers are there for a paycheck, he and the staff were wonderful.

This United felt more like “United Lite.” Smaller footprint, funky musty aroma—like the building itself was reminiscing about the '90s. Not the freshest vibe, but hey, the shelves were stocked, the parking lot was wide open, and miracle of miracles: actual cashiers! Plural! I didn’t have to play hide-and-seek with self-checkout. Something other stores can learn from, mainly one who's favorite color is blue.

I went to this United to get a few things. When I checked out I had bought a couple of 2 liter Dr Pepper Zero bottles. The cashier said she thought one or both were leaking but I didn’t think much about it because I really did not see anything leaking. When the old man that carried my groceries out put the drinks in I noticed that one of them was leaking because there was drips of it in the bag so I asked him if I could exchange both. He went and I thought exchanged them but when I got home the bags were all wet with the drink inside that was leaking. I really don’t think he exchanged them or put them in new bags. I did not appreciate it at all. I probably will not go back to that store at all. I thought United was better than that
