  From the beginning, the atmosphere was poor. We sat at the bar waiting for our table and the female bartender never came to us, but chose to go to everyone else. We didn’t know racism existed at Saltgrass in Lubbock, Texas. Then we get sat down and we ordered 12 oz.ribeyes and they were a joke. They looked more like flank steaks and the manager was very unprofessional and didn’t seem too worried about it! We will never return.

  I’m still thinking about the meal it’s been a long time since I’ve been this impressed by a restaurant, everything from food to the atmosphere was top tier Julio the manager really made us feel welcome with his outstanding service thank you for maintaining such a fantastic establishment I can’t wait to return

  It is rare to find a venue that truly exceeds the expectations set by its reputation, but this spot did exactly that. From the flawless service to the exceptional quality of every course, it was an incredibly impressive dining experience. A special thanks to the manager, Julio, whose attentive leadership clearly reflects in the store’s success. I’m already looking forward to my next visit

  I had a great experience at Saltgrass, and a big part of that was thanks to Mike, the manager. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and the team. He stopped by our table to check on us, made sure everything was cooked perfectly, and handled the dining room with confidence and professionalism. The food was excellent, but what stood out most was the atmosphere — everything felt organized, welcoming, and smooth. That doesn’t happen by accident, and it’s clear Mike sets the tone. He was attentive without being overbearing and made us feel valued as customers. Saltgrass is lucky to have him leading the team. We’ll definitely be back!

  I had such a wonderful experience here and felt compelled to share! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and inviting. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell that care and attention go into every detail. What truly made our visit stand out was the exceptional service, especially from the manager, Mike. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. It’s rare to see that level of attentiveness and pride, and it made a lasting impression. This place is a gem, and I’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and outstanding service!
