The HEB store has great specials on fruit and meat. The quality is great too. The Thanksgiving special offering $0.97 a pound for a turkey if you buy a HEB brand ham for $2.99 a pound is not something families should fall for. That is a terribly high price that some poor families will fall for. Walmart across the street has perfect turkeys for $0.97 a pound. You can buy a Sugardale ham from HEB for $0.97 a pound without the "Turkey Special". Their store baked pies are $14.95 and taste terrible. Be warned.

They are the regional power house and they've earned that title. Fresh items are always recently made, their HEB labeled items are usually better than popular national brands, and customer service is always above and beyond. The curbside and delivery options are game changers. The couple of times something has gone wrong, the local store team AND the corporate team have made it right and delighted me in the process. 10/10

I understand that HEB is busy and that patience is necessary with the online shopping carts that are all over. That being said, it would be nice if they were more aware of their surroundings while shopping. Most of the store shoppers go around like nobody else exists in the store! Look around you and if you can help move a little to help with flow, then do it!

1st time shopping at HEB. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed by and employee. The staff all seemed happy to be there. The layout of the store was easy to follow and the website helped me find what I was looking for. ALSO THIS HEB CARRIES GROG! that was the only reason I visited. Will most def visit again the next time I am in town.

I really love HEB but this is not cool at all. It's incredibly weird, really inconvenient and abelist as all get out to have to leave the grocery store while you're shopping because the store opens at 6 but the bathrooms don't open until 7. I only sometimes have an issue where my meds make me a little sick to my stomach and I end up with a need to use the bathroom I can't imagine being a person who might have to deal with emergent bathroom trips. Luckily the Walmart across the street doesn't have this issue. (Edit) I actually went back across the street after to speak with a manager (Skylar) just because this just seemed like such a weird oversight. She was nice and spoke kindly to me. Hopefully now that I've pointed this out maybe the bathrooms will be accessible to people when the store is open.
