I really wish Corporate HEB would take a look at this store. It is a shame that reviews here only go to the store. To be clear, the people that work here are incredibly nice--they do what they can with the resources they have. Unfortunately, the community has just simply outgrown this store. It is literally impossible to shop here anymore unless you pay for pricey delivery or get curbside. I prefer not to do curbside, especially when i am getting fresh fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, so many of the very very few parking spots here are taken up by curbside (and unused). This parking lot is very dangerous with the layout and have seen quite a few near misses. There are literally zero parking spots available often--not just parking at the front. I am a park far away and walk it kind of person, but I can't even do that here. When trying to shop the small isles once you are finally able to get in, you are blocked by the large carts that employees have to pull delivery and curbside orders. All this is true during any part of the day you try to shop--but if you try to go after work or on the weekend...pure chaos and madness. I have been a loyal HEB fan since moving to Texas. However, I have now had to start shopping exclusively at Walmart. Do I like Walmart and their business practices? Absolutely not. However, HEB hasn't really given our community the choice anymore. Most of my neighbors now shop at Walmart. I really would prefer to shop at HEB. I drive an extra 2 miles out of my way to go to Walmart since I know I will be able to park and shop the aisles. PLEASE HEB!!!! I am BEGGING you to start construction on the new HEB you bought land for. I don't think you understand the sales you are missing by holding back on this. This is one of the worst HEB's around...except Luling. Those are the 2 closest HEB's in the area and they are just bad. I would LOVE to be an HEB customer and HEB pharmacy customer again (don't get me started on the setup for that--completely blocks traffic from entering parking lot). Corporate, just come visit this location on a Saturday and tell me you would shop here. If you wait too long to do this, loyalty will be lost and hard to return if you have just ignored this community and this part of Texas.

EDIT: Initially I did not know this was supposed to be a review for the HEB in Lockhart TX, Google had it lined up with several other places I had been to in Kyle on the same day, and Google never specified which store it was for, HEB in Lockhart is a good store, hopefully they can get an HEB Plus soon, as I think they need it since Lockhart os growing very fast! The HEB Plus in Kyle is also a good store, staff is helpful and polite. They need to get the remodel finished though, as I'm sure that I'm not the only person who goes shopping one week, and then goes back the week following, and things that were located in one place are totally located in a different location in the store, which makes shopping a bit more of a fishing expedition, and takes a little more time. Other than that, they've usually always got what we're looking for, and at very competitive prices!
