This Dairy Queen for breakfast will also take lunch orders. I sat in the Dairy Queen’s line for 20 minutes with only one car in front of me because they ordered chicken that had to be fried When it is breakfast time, and all I ordered was one breakfast Taquito. This location needs to learn how to pull people forward.

Where do I begin? Long time customer - actually partly moved to Lindale. once I heard about and saw the Bible on the counter here. Still love that, but this place is falling down in their service, and in their friendliness. Great family owns the place, good salt of the Earth folks, but they need to talk to the staff that run the window at the drive-through. A frown while barking “Have a blessed day!” is not an acceptable parting comment. A sincere “thank you!” would also be nice. And if a customer orders seven burgers in two weeks and accumulates enough App points for a coupon for a large seed oil sundae - less than 5% milkfat, and an incredible amount of sugar - you need to tell them that you’re going to charge $1.50 for a dab of whipped cream and six pecans when they place the order, not when they get to the window. I’ve used coupons here for years for sundaes, and have never been charged for whipped cream and pecans. You announce charges for what you now call “extras” when the order is placed - that is how that works, and don’t be snippy and rude when asked about your new coupon practices. Spend your money across the street, at the friendly Whataburger! Service with a smile, a better app, and no cheapskate reindeer games on app coupons with snarky barking as you drive off. A Dairy Queen sundae—specifically the soft serve base and popular toppings like hot fudge—contains several ingredients often scrutinized for their potential health risks. The most concerning ingredients in a Dairy Queen sundae include carrageenan, polysorbate 80, mono and diglycerides, and high fructose corn syrup. Here are the specific unhealthy ingredients and their effects: 1. Artificial Thickeners and Emulsifiers These are used to maintain a smooth, thick texture in the "reduced fat" soft serve (which contains only 5% milkfat, less than the 10% required for the legal definition of ice cream). Carrageenan: A stabilizer derived from seaweed linked to gut inflammation, bloating, and potential carcinogenic effects in animals. Polysorbate 80: An emulsifier used to keep ingredients blended and prevent melting, sometimes criticized for negative impacts on gut bacteria. Mono and Diglycerides: Used to keep fat from separating, these emulsifiers are sometimes processed similarly to trans fats. Guar Gum: A thickener used to prevent ice crystals from forming. 2. High-Sugar and Processed Ingredients High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) & Corn Syrup: The primary sweetener in both the soft serve and toppings, contributing to high sugar levels and associated with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. Hydrogenated Oil (Palm Kernel or Coconut Oil): Found in hot fudge toppings, these are processed fats. Sodium Bicarbonate & Potassium Sorbate: Used in toppings as a leavening agent and preservative, respectively. Nutritional Impact: A large Hot Fudge Sundae can contain roughly 600-610 calories, 16g-21g of fat, and over 70g of sugar. Excessive Sugar: Often more than the recommended daily intake in a single treat. Saturated Fat: A large portion of the fat content is saturated, often exceeding 75% of the daily value. Processed Chemical Additives: The soft serve is considered highly processed, making it technically "soft serve" rather than ice cream.

Lindale Dairy Queen has always been a soft spot in my heart. Im only 15 now, but i've loved this place since I was 4. Through the years, everyone that worked there was very kind. Even now they are still very kind, though on 4/07/26, it was around 4pm and me and my friends had walked from the high school to DQ. It was nice to get a blizzard before having to walk back to school for the after school band rehearsal. The lady who worked the register, seemed to be having a bad day most likely, and I get that nobody likes working all day, but I don't exactly appreciate how she acted as we ordered. One of my friends had ordered 2 boxes of those round chocolate ice cream sandwiches, and she had only brought out one, so he told her that he needed two, and do note he was very kind to the lady working the register, but she had tapped on the computer thingy, but it was a bit violent, and when it was my turn to order i had asked, "Can I get a small mint oreo blizzard?" and she said yes, handed me the receipt I moved out of the way, and waited for a bit, and after waiting for a few minutes, I got my blizzard and I told her, "Thank you, have a good day." hoping i could make the next person's experience slightly better, but I get if she was having a bad day, everyone does. But overall Dairy Queen is still my most favorite place. For as long as ive been going to DQ, this one has earned my 5 stars years ago!! :) Don't worry, you'll see me more often now that im more privileged. (Side Note: The staff that work the back like kitchen, drive throu, or ice cream things, do an extremely good job to crank out the delicious food in a matter of 10 or slightly less minutes).

Food sucked. Old fries. Steak fingers were ok. Service was nice. But the food was not good.
