Watch out for tip scamming now!
I never tip for "counter service" unless absolutely warranted.
Recently at drive through, I noticed after tapping my card, that a tip had been added to my purchase that I did NOT enter. This is theft, and this employee should be fired.
What once was "Freaky Fast", at the drive through, has now become a slow, cumbersome, tip stealing process, since they have put in these new card scanners that they have to hand to you through the window.
If they don't hand it to you, Do Not tap!
I guess I have to start going inside now. đ
Weâve had a great experience with delivery! Garth is always so kind and handles our stuff well.

Today my mother went to the drive thru to pick up one sandwich. She has done this many times and service has always been great. She has two arms but her left (closest to the drive thru window) is not mobile. This means she has to reach across her body to hand something to the cashier or get her items. She has handicapped license plates, a special steering wheel, and wears a brace- pretty obvious signs that she may need a little help. When asked to pay she had her card out and ready to hand to the cashier. Cashier pushed card reader terminal towards her. Mom explained that she couldnât use her arm and needed help. She was told âI canât do it for you,â so my mom replied that she supposed she wouldnât be able to get her sandwich then. Cashier then pushes payment terminal closer so mom is able to insert her card for payment. Now mom has to unbuckle her seat belt, remove her immobile arm, open the car door, and insert her card. Cashier then tells my mom to complete the transaction (the tip screen). My mom explains she cannot see the options on the screen. Cashier tells her she canât push the buttons for her, so mom says then she wonât leave a tip. Cashier tells her to push the green button then. Finally this transaction is over and mom goes home with sandwich. This will be her last visit, even though itâs a favorite. And I sincerely hope that the cashiers get some training on what service is, especially if they are dealing with someone who is handicapped. Not a good look, Jimmy Johnâs.
Man, I wish I wrote this review right after my visit so I remember the gentlemans name, but he was so great. Its been a long time since my last visit to a jimmy John's that I did not know what I wanted ot how the items come. With a constant warm smile he patiently answered all my idiotic questions lol
Good job guys
Iâve had several good experiences at the Jimmy Johnâs on Main Street in Lewisville. The sandwiches are consistently fresh, the bread is soft, and the ingredients taste just how you expect from Jimmy Johnâs. When everythingâs running smoothly, service is quick and convenient, which makes it a great spot to grab a meal when youâre short on time.
The staff has been friendly and helpful during my visits, and even during busier times they do their best to keep things moving. Overall, itâs a reliable location that delivers on quality and convenience. Iâll definitely continue stopping by when Iâm in the area.
