This is a very good Outback. Service was great. While I was there, they even handled a disgruntled customer very well. Food was well-cooked.

I think this is the second time I’ve visited this location and I am very pleased. The staff is top notch. One of the guys that greeted me walking in has the coolest hair that I haven’t seen since 1993. I’m writing this because the staff is great. Everything else is just what I expect when visiting an outback. Sat at the bar and thank you Ashley

Oh my, I hate writing this review because I want Outback Steakhouse to be a place I eat more often. But here it goes... The last 3 times my wife and I ate at Outback Steakhouse were in central Florida a few years ago. Nothing unusual to report then because everything was fine (actually excellent). I am old enough to remember the pleasure of eating at Steak & Ale, which I think was a nice affordable steak restaurant with adult beverages and occasional live music. But this was back in the 1970s and today is a different time. Firstly and not knowing what to expect for an early Friday evening, I called ahead to see if the restaurant was busy and perhaps I might use their "call ahead seating". When I explained why I was calling, the young lady I spoke with paused for a brief moment and asked me hold on while she checked. A couple of minutes later she told me there will be no wait to be seated. My wife and I made the 15 minute drive, parked in the mostly empty parking lot and walked inside. We were seated right away in the 20% filled restaurant. We thought this might be a nice change from Texas Roadhouse, where we often go. What I don't like about Texas Roadhouse is that it is a very noisy restaurant and sometimes I need to shout to speak with my dinner companion who is just 3 feet away from me. Tonight, my wife and I asked for a booth. Although there were many empty booths in the restaurant, we were seated between "Yelling Booth 1" and "Yelling Booth 2". We should have asked for a more quiet place to sit but we did not discover the volume issue for a few minutes. Still we should have moved. I do appreciate restaurants who balance the crowd. We have all seen those. We placed our order and we were served a few minutes later. My wife ordered the shrimp; I, the sirloin (medium rare) with 4 shrimp. We began the meal with an open mind. Adjacent tables are still screaming. We soon began to have our doubts as it seemed the shrimp were essentially medium sized grocery store shrimp with a bullying amount of seasoning. I began to think I made a wise choice by also getting a sirloin. However, it was at best a mediocre steak. But I was not going to send my order back. I reconciled myself by acknowledging the salad, bread and baked potato was quite good. Water to drink and with gratuity, we were self-checked out to the tune of about $72. We had finished up about the same time our yelling neighbors decided they had enough and it was time to leave. So it goes, and with that we concluded our last visit to an Outback Steakhouse.
