I really wanted to like Dessert Avenue because of the great hours, but at this price point, it just does not deliver.
We tried the Olive Oil Citrus Cake, Carrot Cake, Rose Lassi, and the Ferrero Rocher Bomb. The flavors were fine, nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. For a place positioned as a higher-end dessert café, the experience felt underwhelming.
The Ferrero Rocher Bomb in particular felt overhyped. It is essentially a single standard-sized hazelnut in the center, surrounded by about two and a half inches of chocolate mousse and then coated in chocolate. In the end, it just tastes like chocolate mousse with a shell. The hazelnut element gets completely lost.
The decor is minimal and clean, but the overall vibe does not match the premium pricing. When you compare it to places like The London Baker, where the cost is lower and the product feels more refined, it becomes harder to justify. It feels more like trend-driven presentation than truly elevated quality.
The staff did not do anything wrong, but the energy felt unenthused and unwelcoming, which adds to the disconnect between price and experience.
At this point, it just does not feel worth the premium.
To be honest, the place has a nice ambiance and is a decent spot to hang out. However, the desserts felt overpriced for the portion sizes and quality. The display items looked much larger than what was actually served, which was very disappointing. While the ice creams were good, the other desserts did not meet our expectations. Overall, our experience was quite disappointing.
I wouldn’t go back to this place. :/

This place has a LOT to improve on. We got the cappuccino cloud cake and the NY style cheesecake. The cloud cake came pretty frozen still. It was not “decadent”. It was cold and dry and the cheesecake was nothing special. You could probably get something more rich at a grocery shop. Rather than having so many items on the menu, try to specialize in some really good ones.
Cherry on the cake was the unclean utensils we received. When asked for a second one, the girl working there with an attitude on her face, gave another one.. which was also dirty. Then she cleaned it under steam and gave it back to us.
The place is very much okay. Nothing worth $10 a piece.

This review is a bit long overdue, I have had the pleasure of visiting this specific Dessert Avenue Twice, 2 weeks before their Grand Opening and during their Grand Opening. I was looking around for new cafes in the area as I had just moved into the neighborhood.
Their staff was exceptionally attentive and informative about the many teas, coffee’s, and desserts they had on display. My first experience was shortly after their soft opening, as they did not have many choices, I gave them the benefit of the doubt as they had not fully opened.
I ordered 3 items on my visit to this establishment: The Pistachio Date Delight (A Pistachio and Date blend tea), the Biscoff Crepe, and a Pistachio Latte.
The Pistachio Date Delight:
A simple blend consisting of Pistachio and Dates, served hot and in a French Press. I unfortunately do not have a photo, however, take it from me that it was a pleasant simple tea. I, however, do wish there were more dates within the blend to provide the sweetness that I was craving. Other than that, I enjoyed it.
The Biscoff Crepe:
My initial impression was that it was stunningly beautiful and hoped that it tasted as fantastic as it looked - It did not disappoint. The crepe itself was filled with slices of bananas and pieces of biscoff cookies. Additionally it was topped with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (they do have other choices on request) and drizzled with condensed milk and a caramel sauce.
The Pistachio Latte:
A pleasant mellow and not overly sweet coffee mixed with pistachio syrup that complemented the crepe I ordered very well. You can choose to either get 1 or 2 shots of espresso - I ended up choosing only 1. As you could notice from my review, I always default to anything pistachio-flavored, however, I did like this very much.
Overall, this was a nice and relaxing place to visit, the vibes were great, and I know they just released their Breakfast Menu that I will come back to try. I, for sure, will more than likely return just for their crepes.
Photo’s attached are the Biscoff Crepe and Pistachio Latte.

Amazing Dessert Spot!
I had such a wonderful experience at this dessert place! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying something sweet. The desserts were fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was full of flavor and not overly sweet.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and quick with service. You can really tell they care about quality and customer satisfaction. Whether you’re craving cakes, pastries, or something chocolatey, this place is definitely worth visiting.
Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth! 🍰✨
