While this store stocks many HEB products instead of the name brands I sometimes look for, it by far provides enough options to cover my needs. It will continue to be my #1 go to for groceries and prescriptions.

I hate to say it but curbside is not great. Out of the last 5 orders I’ve placed 3 have had issues. They’ll give you whatever item they feel is close enough and not notify you of the change. I got cloves instead of cumin the other day. I’m also convinced they report items as out of stock when they are not. Not to mention, they throw the weirdest things in the same bag; probably a good idea to not bag heavy produce in with a loaf of bread. Same with placing items in the car; don’t put breakable or soft items like bread and tomatoes under heavy items. I don’t mean to be rude, but I fear that is common sense and takes little time to do. Customer service is hit or miss. One very sweet person noticed the peppers in my order were looking pretty sad and went to grab me another bag. On the other hand, I’ve had people who slam my car door HARD or put items in the car without a care as I mentioned before and damage things in the process. Today I didn’t receive half of my order. 16 items. Now I have to take time out of my afternoon to go back and get the items I’m missing. I understand this is all a risk of me being lazy and ordering curbside, but at the very least I should be able to expect to 9 times out of 10 get the actual items I ordered, all of my items, a heads up when things are out or being swapped, and not come home to unpack smashed loaves of bread, split tomatoes, and cracked eggs. If you don’t have the man power to handle the amount of orders your store is receiving or even train your employees the basics of packing/handling groceries, cut off the orders at some point.

I was waiting at the checkout counter to get my items billed. I placed everything on the counter, and there was no one behind me since it was almost 10 PM and the store wasn’t busy. The staff member, Soren, completely ignored me and didn’t say a single word. Instead, she started arranging or refilling the bags even though there were already enough bags available and it could have waited until after I was checked out. She began scanning my items very aggressively without any communication, didn’t ask me to tap to pay (I did it on my own), and continued bagging aggressively. She handed me the receipt without saying a single word. I found the behavior very passive-aggressive and unprofessional. I’m disappointed by the lack of basic customer service and communication

Store has plenty of walk room space even during the busiest hours. Also the staff here are awesome and super helpful. One of the best HEB’s in my opinion. Curbside pickup is great too!
