My boyfriend and I walked in and we were instantly greeted by so many friendly faces! The Leander cava is by far my favorite cava location. The place is always well kept and clean. Madi was so sweet!! She made our bowls and they were delicious. Definitely coming back soon!

Firstly, I LOVE Cava’s food. I swear I put up with too much just because of this. But their online ordering is a MESS every time. The portion sizes at this location are very inconsistent - I’ve gotten different amounts of falafel on my bowl nearly every time I come. I place my orders in advance for pickup and they are never ready on time! This store location is never busy and I am very often the only person there. This last time - there were three staff members standing around at the front counter! And it wasn’t until after my expected order pickup time that I was then texted there would be a delay. It would have been faster to just order a new bowl at the counter at this point, as my order was still not ready by the new delayed time and I remained the only customer in the store the entire duration of my wait.

The food and service at this new location were very good, but there’s an important hygiene concern that needs attention. Several customers in line were leaning over the protective glass to place their orders, which defeats its purpose.
This raises obvious food safety issues, including the risk of germs or saliva coming into contact with exposed food. To maintain proper hygiene standards and protect both customers and staff, the protective glass should be extended to fully cover the food area.
Addressing this would greatly improve an otherwise positive experience.
