Based on a unanimous recommendation from the hotel front desk, I headed to Rudy’s. Even though they were not serving on the menu, my favorite—beef ribs—the brisket was as tender and juicy as it gets. I arrived at 9:52 PM, just eight minutes before closing. I could tell the staff was a bit apprehensive, perhaps worried I might linger and keep them past their shift. I have a lot of respect for restaurant workers and would never want to be 'that customer,' so I made sure to move quickly. Fortunately, there was no line, and the team served me so efficiently that I was able to finish my meal without delaying anyone's departure. The 'meat and greet' was excellent, but I do have one suggestion: My only critique is the bread; serving high-quality brisket with plain white toast feels like a missed opportunity for something homemade. That aside, the meat was fantastic, and I’m glad I caught them before the doors locked.
