  The Desoto community is lacking on good restaurants. This place was referred by a friend and despite the lackluster appeal on the outside, it was really nice inside. The food, drinks, and service was really good. There's quite a variety. I'll definitely go back.

  I ordered these bandera enchiladas and I had to spit them out because they were so nasty, tasted like rubber. Please do not order those.

  Service finish your drink otherwise they will pull out of your mouth. First time there and last time. I will not not refer anyone there terrible manager

  Ordered on their website for delivery and they charged me for plates and only gave me à la carta portions. Manager never tried to talk to me when I drove up there. Bad management. Could do better with customer service for the price you pay there.

  Great food, great music. Aside from those things I wish I could say we had a problem-free experience. We received poor customer service from the point of us ordering our food at Mariscos La Marina Seafood Grill to the end of our visit. We had to ask for drink refills as we were not offered them even once, and we asked one of the waitresses for more chips for our chip & dip to which she agreed, but never came back to our table to bring them. We ended up asking the bartender who passed by and informed us that there’s a charge for more chip refills (usually free at most restaurants similar to this). We also experienced a long wait for our food and not once did any of the waitresses/waiters come by to ask if the food was okay or if we needed anything additional. The same waitress who initially took our orders & who we asked for more chips passed our table several times while assisting a table in front of us with a bigger party, giggling & talking with them, and never once looked our way despite us coming long before that party came in. We also waited a while for our receipt, and I made multiple attempts to wave over the same waitress mentioned earlier and even got up to approach her about it, to which she walked past me like I wasn’t there and eventually I caught up to her when she was trying to exit the bar. She ended up having a different waitress bring us our receipt and none of the waitresses/waiters even came by to follow up with us after payment, nor were we greeted as we were exiting the restaurant, just stared at by the staff. There was also a $13/$14 service fee added to our bill that we could not remove before payment, despite us desiring to not tip/tip very little due to the horrible customer service we received by this restaurant’s staff. This was my 2nd time eating at this establishment, to which I do not recall having such a displeasing experience the first time, but after this second visit we will not be returning to Mariscos La Marina Seafood Grill.
