Just had probably by far the worst experience at any fast food restaurant. I ordered my food with my family. We while waiting a girl probably no older than 20, who truly looked to be younger than 16 walked past my vehicle mean mugging me (mind you this was an employee). Couple of minutes later, our server Kylee or Kaylee comes out brings our food, she was kind. I looked in the bag as she asked me about dipping sauces and if we needed more. I asked for more BBQ sauce. She looked at me, went inside and grabbed one, came out like she was hiding a stash of it. She hands me one, and in disbelief I look up and she says, I’m sorry my manager was watching me and she’d fire me if I gave you more. Mind you, we ordered three large chicken strip/nugget combos for three separate people. I watched as she went into the store and went up what I believe to be the manager (SAME GIRL WHO WAS MEAN MUGGING ME.) and from what I could see they had a confrontation about the BBQ sauce. I’ve never been shorted sauce for a meal from Sonic. If anything they give you more and then have the hops rolling around offering more. Super bizarre experience, and honestly I won’t be back. This is the second time in one week I’ve had a bad or weird experience and at this point I’m done.
Whoever the manager is here should be let go, if she’s bullying employees to the point they are scared to do their jobs and being frankly, like the Nazi Sauce Police. My next call is to corporate. I own a business myself and no employee should be treated like that, and a paying customer who just spent $45 on subpar food that was barely warm should be able to get dipping sauce for their 3 meals, and the employee or manager needs a reality check. I was smiling at her when she mean mugged me. Again, you don’t treat customers like that. Rant over. But honestly, treat your employees better, and your customers.
