- AJAbdul JabbarFeb 22, 20261.0I went with my wife and kids to HEB for usual weekend shopping, after checking the receipt, we noticed there is a $10 worth item that we are not sure what it was!! I took the receipt to the customer service to ask about it, I was told that I donated $10!! I was like: No Sir, I did not, Nor I was asked too. You can tell it was a shady transaction, because the donation was deducted in the middle of the receipt, may be to hide it among other items. Dear cashier, I’m not sure if get incentive if you enroll more people to donate, but you have to do it the right way. I see you chose a big receipt so the $10 will not be felt 👍, your customers check their receipt afterwards. It’s not about the $10, it’s the way you did it without my permission. If you do it right I will be happily do it. Just like how I donated for the Girl Scout cookies at your HEB entrance in that same day.
