Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers reported inconsistent service, with some praising fast and friendly staff while others experienced slow service and order mistakes.

I loved their service. Their food came out quick and it was nice and hot and everything was perfect.

Some of the employees they have were fired from other restaurants in the same area for good reasons. The current staff they have talk loudly and negatively about customers and just stand around gossiping. Anyway my last visits I just felt uncomfortable because of the same rude always being there and being super passive aggressive so I won't eat here anymore .

Put in a mobile order never got it made. Think I'll just go to a different location from now on. The service is always trash here unless they have management actually making sure they do their jobs I guess. I don't know if just hiring the worst customer service is exclusively a la feria thing or what. The employees are extremely rude

The service was poor. Food was cold and no coffee while workers were sitting around talking. I’m so disappointed ☹️

Good food but orders took way to long today. Customers waited more than 20-30min to get food. The guy that ordered behind me got his 1st so I had to make a counter visit. I saw 2 other customer complain to manager about food time and they looked fully staffed but so unorganized. This WB used to be my go to...sadly not anymore👎. Was supposed to dine in but took it to go instead. Unsat.
