  Ribs good, burnt ends great, brisket world class. Cole unusual with cranberries and nuts, cowboy beans great. Could have made a meal of just them

  Let me preface my review by saying my customer service was absolutely amazing. The women working there were so friendly, so helpful, and so inviting they made me want to try out anything they recommended. Now, that being said, my meal was horrible. I bought a three meat plate with lean brisket, the poblano queso sausage, and pulled pork.The crust on the brisket was so salty it was actually inedible. The sausage was bland. Other than the slight hint of poblano it was basically flavorless. The pulled pork tasted like the ready made pulled pork that's swimming in that super sweet bbq sauce you'd find in any supermarket meat department. My potato salad tasted of potatoes, dill, mayonnaise, a ridiculous amount of vinegar so it left this slick but acrid taste in your mouth. And last but not least, the macaroni and cheese tasted like the Bob Evans stuff that once again, you can find in pretty much any grocery store. I can honestly say I was sooo disappointed, especially since I love HEB and have rarely been unhappy with any of their products. BUT I guess there's a first for everything.

  The chopped brisket is already sauced and a little too sweet for me but I loved the sliced brisket! Perfect red smoke ring! Delicious! The potato salad was also amazing and the sweet tea was perfect!

  For a small, but not compact restaurant inside of H.E.B. they pack a serious BBQ with fixings which brings in Kingwood families of all kinds. The space is cozy most all the time and super festive during rushes. Get your brisket lean or butchers choice...succulent and Texas Huge Savory!
