Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers praised the friendly and helpful staff, with specific mentions of employees providing excellent service.
Food Quality

Our food had a very obvious hair inside the burger on 11/13/25. We come here sometimes and haven't had this issue. $15 meal (we spent more bc we got multiple orders) to drive home and find a hair INSIDE the burger is not cool. Please make sure cooks are wearing appropriate hair nets and hair tied back. This was gross and a waste of money for that order.

I normally don’t write reviews, but what happened tonight deserves to be addressed immediately.
I came in as an Uber Eats delivery driver to pick up an order. When I told the employee the customer’s name, I mispronounced it slightly. Instead of helping me or simply repeating the correct pronunciation, the female employee at the counter (white female, blonde/light brown hair, heavier-set, wearing glasses and noticeable facial hair) said to me:
“Come on now, sweetie… you’re telling me you can’t pronounce that name?”
She said it loud enough for another customer and the kitchen staff to hear.
It was condescending, humiliating, and completely unnecessary.
For her, it may have been a joke.
For me, it was deeply hurtful.
I have a reading difficulty and mild dyslexia from childhood — caused by a teacher who physically and emotionally mistreated me and damaged my confidence growing up. I have worked hard to rebuild myself as an adult. So for an employee to publicly belittle me over a name I mispronounced was triggering and extremely unprofessional.
I come in to do my job and provide for my family.
I don’t come in to be mocked or talked down to.
I want This reviewed by management, and I expect this employee to receive corrective action and retraining. Delivery drivers deserve respect — we are the reason businesses get extra orders late at night.
This location needs to do better in how it treats people who are simply trying to work.
I have already reported this incident to Uber Eats support.
Oh and one more thing Sweetie, while you’re flipping burgers, I’m licensed in multiple states and building a career.
I’m an independent worker with certifications you couldn’t dream of.
Reading challenges don’t stop millionaires — ask the folks who own whole insurance businesses with dyslexia.
So please don’t ever try to belittle somebody’s intelligence, especially when your chin hair is longer than your patience.
This is not my only source of income.

I just flew into houston , and my wife picked me up. We had about an hour before we got to the house and we ran by for a quick bite. When I opened my hamburger.
The way I opened it on the way.It was wrapped caused it to spill in my lap. Jesus, the manager made me another one at no charge... even though he was not responsible for the problem.
Thanks so much Jesus!

Was late around midnight. Went through drive thru. Employees were very kind, seemed to enjoy doing their job doing their work getting paid is a great thing to see. I wish I had that. I got fries and a chocolate shake bc I found few dollars while cleaning. So I rewarded myself. Hot fries and yummy chocolate shake.
