This is a perfect pearl of a sushi restaurant! After living in LA for 45 years, we moved to Kingwood and never expected to find this kind of sushi! Fresh, delicious -the LA Roll, Houston Roll and Ginger Maki are outstanding! The atmosphere is cozy with a soundtrack that is all classic jazz .. Did I mention the special after dinner sweet treat? Handmade - If you’re lucky, you’ll experience this treat (when available!). We are totally “hooked” and highly recommend Little Ginger! ❤️

Little Ginger is a must-try restaurant in the Kingwood area. It’s only about 20 minutes from IAH, and I stopped by for a quick bite before my flight—so glad I did. I tried several items from the menu and everything was excellent. The skewers were incredibly delicious, especially the steak, which was perfectly marinated and full of flavor. The crispy tuna cloud was absolutely amazing, and the Japanese scallops were sweet, fresh, and nicely crunchy. Hands down, this is the best sushi restaurant in Kingwood. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

The menu offers a wide variety of options, from sushi to non-sushi dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. I never get tired of trying new things but I also love sticking to my favorites, particularly the Sweet Potato Roll, Shaggy Dog Roll, Mt. Fuji Maki Roll, and the Chicken & Broccoli Bento Box. Little Ginger is always at the top of my list when I’m out to eat in Kingwood.

This Japanese restaurant in the Kingwood area has quickly become one of my favorite spots for fresh, high-quality food. The sashimi is consistently excellent—super fresh, perfectly cut, and full of flavor. Their sushi rolls are just as impressive, with thoughtful combinations and great presentation. The tempura deserves a special mention as well. It’s light, crispy, and never greasy—exactly how good tempura should be. You can tell they take pride in their technique and ingredients. Service is always warm and attentive, and the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome. The value for money is also great, especially considering the quality you get. A wonderful bonus: every now and then, the owner surprises guests with a complimentary homemade dessert. It’s a thoughtful touch that really elevates the whole dining experience. Overall, a must-visit if you’re in Kingwood and craving top-notch Japanese cuisine!
