  I was very disappointed with my experience, especially on Veterans Day. As a veteran, I came in expecting to be treated with basic respect, but instead, I waited over almost 3 hours for my food while watching other customers come and go with theirs. It honestly felt like I was being made to wait on purpose after I mentioned I wanted my food to go. The waitress seemed surprised that I wasn’t dining in, and after that, my order was delayed far longer than anyone else’s. To make things worse, I was supposed to receive a $10 game card, but it was never offered. By the time my food was finally ready, I was so disappointed that I just left without it. As a veteran, I felt ignored and dishonored on a day meant to show appreciation. I truly hope management addresses this and treats all guests—especially veterans—with the respect we deserve.

  This was my first time going to this place and the experience was not good. We arrived and were told that it would be a 45 minute wait for a table for 3. I looked around and there were a few tables empty. So I said we’ll just go play the games for now. After playing for a while, I went back and put my name on the waiting list. Now it was a 55 minute wait. Ok , cool went and played more games. The bowling machine wasn’t working properly, the basketballs got stuck on the top net covering. The other games were good. Lots of fun on that end of the building. Finally after waiting for over a hour, we got seated. It then took another 10 minutes before my order was taken. Well, the waiter disappeared and came back what seemed like 30 minutes or more. He asked me, had someone taken my order. I said yes, you did. With a confused look on his face, he looked at his pad, and said I don’t see that order, let me go check on that. He came back and asked me what I ordered, then said oh I do remember that. Did he seriously just take my order again? So I had to wait even longer to get my food and drinks. Mind you it was nothing fancy or hard to cook. When I tell you, the buns on that burger were hard as a ROCK and burnt on top of that, believe me, because I took pictures for proof! The wings were overcooked and suspiciously dark in color,I did NOT eat them, no complaints on the fries they were hot and fresh. My daughter returned the uneaten burgers, and they said they would prepare another order. It was late, and my grandson had school the next day, so we got it to go. I didn’t look inside them until I got home. I mean seriously they just literally threw some burnt buns, cheese and dry meat together to form this “creation”. Look at it, and judge for yourself 😩 Pictures don’t lie.

  One of the Worst Experiences Ever We booked our table at 2 PM for a 7 PM reservation, and when we arrived, we were told to wait a few minutes. Those “few minutes” turned into over an hour of waiting, and by 8 PM, we still didn’t have a table. We eventually left at 8:30 PM, completely frustrated. The bay areas were filthy when we arrived and were still just as dirty when we left—no one ever came by to clean or check on them. It was disgusting and honestly unacceptable for a place that’s supposed to be a fun outing spot. They were clearly understaffed on one of the busiest nights possible—a federal holiday (Veterans Day) when most people are off work. You’d think management would plan ahead, but it was obvious they didn’t. When we finally tried to order food, they were out of several items we wanted. The bartender was the only bright spot—she was clearly doing her best despite being overwhelmed and working short-staffed. Between the dirty environment, poor management, ridiculous wait, and lack of preparation, this was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant or entertainment venue. I will never be coming back to Dave & Buster’s after this disaster.

  As a Killeen resident I did not want to have to write a bad review for a new location that provides entertainment. However, this location will not last long unless management makes changes. As a lunch time location ~ go somewhere else. The bar quality food takes over 45 minutes to get to you, good luck getting service for even a drink refill even though most of the time you are there there will be absolutely no other customers ordering food. When you get the food , eventually , its actually pretty good, but by then your mood will be put off and you will want to go home before even enjoying the games. Most of the games at this location work but when I took my kids there was a child walking around in a FULL OF POOP dirty diaper, so as far as atmosphere goes : you are in killeen and will be reminded of that. Fix the food service, you are losing lunch time business . We've been here twice the first time we waited. The second time my lunch hour from work ended before we even got our food and we walked out - there were no other customers except for what appeared to be management who went in the back to make sure his children had food.

  Poor Service, Misleading Promotions, and a Disappointing Experience On November 1st, our group of about ten visited Dave & Buster’s in Killeen around 2:15 p.m. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun outing turned into a very disappointing experience. It took nearly 30 minutes just to receive water, and another 30 minutes for drink refills and additional drink orders. We weren’t given straws or napkins, and while our waitress was friendly, she was not attentive. She took all ten orders from memory, which led to four incorrect meals. We ordered appetizers first, followed by entrées about 10–15 minutes later. However, both arrived together nearly an hour later around 4:15 p.m. The appetizers were hot, but the entrées were cold, and one steak salad came out an additional 15 minutes later. At the front, I was told that if I purchased the Eat & Play Combo, my entrée would be free. What wasn’t made clear was that this offer applied only to select entrées. After spending around $120 for the combo, none of our meals qualified. When we ordered from the “approved” menu to-go, only $18 was deducted, even though the included meal was valued at $21. To make matters worse, a mandatory gratuity of over $70 was added to our check, bringing my food bill to $376, plus the $120 for the Eat & Play combo, a total of nearly $500. For that price, we expected quality service and a smooth experience. Instead, we left with cold food, incorrect orders, poor communication, and a lot of disappointment.
