  came in and checked out at the register at 7:54pm. sat down with my grandmother while i waited for my food. i ordered a 4 pc tender basket with jalitos instead of fries and an extra gravy. there was a line in the drive thru when i got there so im thinking okay, i might need to wait, no big deal. 10 mins pass. 20 mins. 30 mins pass and now i’m thinking what’s taking them so long? i look at the counter, there’s four people all making drive thru orders, two people in the kitchen laughing and dancing around, and two others talking to them. i bring my receipt and say it’s been 30 minutes and i haven’t received anything. the cashier apologized and gave me a free banana split and said ten more minutes while we make that. i say okay. 15 more minutes pass and my grandmother tells me, “there’s a box sitting up there, it’s been there for a while.” i wait another 5 minutes and still nobody brings me anything and at this point it’s been nearly an hour with no food. i go up to the register and ask for a refund, at which point one of the ladies in the back now wants to bring me the box and say “did you still want your basket ma’am?” after 8 people completely forgot my order and then sat it up under a heat lamp for 10 minutes? absolutely not lol. after the first 30 minutes passed it was no longer busy maybe 1-2 drive thru cars and other people were coming and going in the dining room, finishing their meals. it was the most ridiculous service i’d ever received at any establishment, ever.

  Lisa is wonderful. She’s very friendly and her burgers are delicious. I like to eat her cooking.

  Ordered chocolate ice cream got vanilla when I told her I ordered chocolate she said we only have vanilla, why didn't they say that when I ordered?

  I’ve lived here since the early 70’s and we’ve been coming to this location since as far back as I can remember. I now have grands and they come in from Temple to meet me at this location. Yes it’s old but even when the line is super long and they are short staffed my order has never been wrong and we’ve always had great service even when part of my large family comes in and takes up four tables just for ice cream and fries. My niece and her family frequent here even in the winter when they come from the UK. Y’all don’t talk bad about my Dairy Queen!! I love you guys. Keep up the great work. No matter what job you hold there, the place is always clean inside and out, the orders are filled and people keep coming back.
