  The food was amazing as always and these servers they have work thier butts off this place is so busy every time we come. Love the atmosphere, the ambiance, the food, and the people who work there. We'll be back soon. Love y'all!!!

  was really disappointed with my experience at Buppa Gump Shrimp. The food is seriously overpriced for the portion sizes — you’re paying premium prices for very small servings. On top of that, the wait time was extremely long, both to be seated and to receive our food. Overall, it just didn’t feel worth the money or the time. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it.

  If I could leave a zero star review I would. We walked in (me, my two young children, and mom) the place is packed. As to be expected on a Saturday evening we were perfectly understanding of this. So we waited for 40 minutes on our reservation (table to become ready). We were finally seated after letting the receptionist know that yes we DID make a reservation. After a bit of confusion for whatever reason on their end, we were finally seated. Not one person came to take our order or check on us for right at 25-30 minutes. Finally I asked who our server was. A server came and questioned us three different times (in regards to if we were seated by the receptionist at this table) I finally said "I just need someone to submit our order to the kitchen I do not care who does it", at this point we had been seated for right at another 45 minutes. With no water, no silverware and nothing to eat. We ordered a thing of chips, 1 kids pizza, 1 crab boil dinner (no utensils to eat with was given), and stuffed shrimp (shrimp cold when arrived). Finally, our dinner came. THE BASKET OF CHIPS came after our dinner was finally served. I sent them back because let's be honest how long does it take to pour chips into a basket... at this point I am still not certain who our server is because 1 person delivered our dinner, a different person took our order, and no one asked if we needed anything... until.. I had to get up and walk directly to the kitchen to ask for silverware to eat this food we had waited on for over 2 hours to finally eat. I was handed PLASTIC FORKS TO EAT CRABLEGS WITH... as I set down another customer actually got up and came to me to ask where I got the silverware because they could not get service either. I was at one point in the end asked if I would like to speak to management. I politely declined by saying management is obviously the problem in this establishment and it would not do me any good to speak with someone who doesn't know what they are doing. (I chose this restaurant over others because forest Gump is my favorite movie and my children were very excited for the experience) WORST EXPERIENCE PERIOD! JUST GO TO ANOTHER RESTURANT within walking distance this place is not worth it.

  Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at the Kemah Boardwalk is such a fun dining experience! We had a fantastic bay view watching the boats pass by while we ate. You absolutely have to order the Shrimp Net Catch, it is incredibly flavorful, garlicky, and so fun to eat right out of the bucket! The Forrest Gump theme is entertaining, and the staff is super friendly. It gets busy on weekends, but you can explore the boardwalk while waiting. A great spot for delicious seafood!

  We waited 45 mins for a table i mean yeah, a table for 16 people is a lot (3 kids,the rest over 12). Today was also windy since we are eating outside. We had to eat outside even though they had bigger tables for 16 people or more inside and yet they made us go outside. The food made me nauseous 🤢 I got the jambalaya and some thing made me feel weird like if it was missing something. So I ate something else which was "I'm stuffed" shrimp and the crab and shrimp made me nauseous so I ate my brother's foos since he didnt like the mini corn dogs. The kids menu mini corn dogs and fries were better than the menu. But just looking at the shrimp made me nauseous. And I am still nauseous that I might feel like throwing up like right now. 🤢🤮 We spend $138.31 on just 4 people that's crazy. I wouldn't come back here not worth it.
