Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MPMatthew PApr 21, 20263.0It’s a whataburger. They had a lot of staff and didn’t seem busy but food took almost 20 minutes. Simple order. Maybe just an off night.

- SWScott WilliamsMar 20, 20263.0There is so much good quality food outside of fast food within a 5 to 10 minute walk of here at about the same price that you would pay for a biggie sized whatever. Used to be faster food was cheap. Taco Bell would have you fed for 2 days on 10 dollars... not anymore. Anyway, grab a small snack here once. Customer service is what you would expect from any other counter part to this chain around the country. I was surprised how fast staff were dishing out food with literally a lobby full of people and a drive-through line full. This was about 7pm on a week day. Food, all fast food is kind of "meh" in flavor to me. Sometimes I'll try something that is limited time, like Wendy's Ghost Pepper fries but I do try to avoid these places.
