  Although a bit busy in the weekend, I’d stand in line any day for this yummy deliciousness. I ordered shrimp & grits, hubby ordered a veggie omelette-everything was served hot and delicious. I bring all my out of town guest and family to this establishment.

  Among a shopping area flooded with things to do and eat, The Toasted Yolk Cafe stands out as a tasty brunch spot begging for your hunger. We arrived and sat outside due to having a dog, beating the small waitlist they had of people wanting to eat inside. Feels like it gets busy there so be prepared to wait (they don’t take reservations). The interior and outside areas are clean and simple, ordering was also fast too. Our server was attentive and quick, although she did make a remark asking if one of our party was sure they wanted to order as much as they did. Ignoring that, ordering was smooth. We got their pancakes, French toast, a side order of bacon, side order of sausage, and ranch omelette with biscuits and grits. Everything was good but the standouts were the pancakes and omelette that were very filling and hit the spot. Not many brunch places can be consistently good across all dishes but Toasted Yolk certainly was. It’s convenient, relatively cheap, and good food. It’s a great way to set yourself up for a good rest of day shopping in the nearby area (which is exactly what we ended up doing.)

  Hubby and I enjoyed a delicious brunch here. I joined the waitlist from my phone as we were driving, knowing there was going to be a lot of people, being that it was Sunday after church. When we arrived I let the host know we were there and almost immediately we were seated. The hosted, Abbi, was very knowledgeable, patient and attentive. She even brought us water without us having to ask for it. The food was delicious and on point. Not too salty or over cooked.

  Food was good but for some reason the workers say the owner doesn't allow them to adjust tv station when games are on and corporate dictates the TV channel thats on at the time. The place was almost empty and they couldnt put it on a game my group wanted to watch. Also asked for a warm syrup and was told the cold, room temp syrup was all they had, but they actually could have warmed it after another server stated it. Good food but service isn't the most accommodating.
