  One of the best places in Houston for Indian food! Spice Mantraa truly stands out for being affordable and great value for money. The quality of the food is consistently good, and everything feels fresh and well-prepared. What makes this place special is the warm, family-like atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and treat you like family rather than just customers. The food has a real homemade taste, and you can tell it’s cooked with care. I especially appreciate that they use very little oil, which is a big concern for me when eating out — but not here. Highly recommend if you’re looking for tasty, healthy, and reasonably priced food in Houston! 👍

  Do not recommend. I was cheated during a self-pickup order—received more than 30% less than the advertised quantity for a family-pack Chicken Biryani. When I reported the issue, the manager responded with rude and unprofessional behavior, stating that the advertised 64 OZ quantity does not necessarily match the OZ quantity delivered (41 OZ). Very disappointing experience. Update based on feedback: No customer is expected to bring a scale to a pickup; there is an inherent trust that the advertised weight matches the delivery. However, when weighed, the container was only 41 oz instead of the promised 64 oz. When I reported this by phone, I was told this discrepancy is 'normal,' which suggests a known and systemic issue. You are free to use any packaging you choose, but the product weight must be accurate. Once that trust is broken, the relationship is over. Consider this a cautionary note for others.

  This a take out review. We love the food from Spice Mantra, especially the degree of customization in terms of spice level. Simply put, the food is tasty and healthy with a good range of dishes. Congratulations and best wishes to the team!

  Ordered take out, got stuck at home for 45 minutes after the pick up time. When I get there to pick it up, it’s still warm and ready for me. Great service. Be warned though, even the very mild is fairly spicy.
