Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I recently made a purchase online through my Whataburger app & waited about 18 mins passed the wait time, when one of the employees came out and asked me my name. She went back in to check and see what were the issues and why my food hadn't come up. She came back to tell me that she didn't see my order, but took a screenshot of the order on my phone, made sure that I was at the right location and proceeded to get answers. When she came back, she had a LARGE drink in her hand (which I had ordered a medium), saying to please allow them time to make the order and she'd be right back. I promise you, a lot of people would've been nasty and not giving a darn and walked away without finding out the problem. Jackie at 24710 went OVER & BEYOND the call of duty to make sure that I was satisfied and she did it ALL WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE. It's people like Jackie, that makes you feel like it was all worth it. A smile gesture can go so far in one's daily routine. So with that being said, I say THANK YOU to all of the Jackie's of the world 🌎. Those that do their job with pure excellence. GIVE THAT GIRL A MANAGER'S POSITION. YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE HER. 💚🤍💚

I want to start by saying I only came to this location to see what the hype was, I usually go to the whataburger on 99 and Morton. All I ordered was an apple pie and Dr Pepper. If you know me, I love Dr Pepper. I went into the drive thru and received my order fairly quickly. I am so clumsy that I spill my Dr Pepper all over the interior of my car!! I come inside upset but just wanted a new Dr Pepper. I see a young man clocking out, and he helps me with my new drink. He asks what’s wrong and I tell him, he offers to help me clean up the mess. We go to clean up the mess but it stained poorly. So we kept in contact and his name was Federico. A few days later Federico reached out to me and I thought maybe an apple pie ! Hahahaha. Wrong. He surprised me with a new car!!! The same car I had but minus the Dr Pepper stains! Wow can you believe that?! Because I still can’t. 10/10 service and shout out you Federico ! I love this place but I will probably still go to the whataburger off 99.

I was really hopeful that this new Whataburger would be better than the one on 99. Unfortunately, it's just as bad. I've been 3 times now, and my order hasn't been correct a single time. Service is so slow, it's not even worth trying to get anyone's attention there to fix anything either. The first time I went, I ordered a #5, no customization at all. I got mayo instead of mustard, and they forgot the bacon. I had to run the fries through the air fryer for about 7 minutes to make them edible. The next time, I ordered a #5 again, making sure to specify mustard, no mayo, and add grilled jalapenos. I did get the bacon this time, but it still had mayo instead of mustard and one very tiny and sad shriveled jalapeno slice. The burger patty was overcooked and too tough to eat in a few places. Again, air fryer was required for the fries. This past weekend, I made it during breakfast hours. I ordered a sausage taquito, a potato taquito, a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, fries, and an apple pie. Both taquitos were egg and cheese only (no sausage or potato on either of them), the sausage patty on the biscuit tapered off in the middle so that it was only a little more than half a patty (this was a new one, I've never seen that at any Whataburger before), and they completely forgot the apple pie. The fries were so bad that I couldn't even fix them in the air fryer this time. I used to be that guy that got into arguments with people outside of Texas if you didn't think Whataburger was the best fast food burger out there, but I'm having to come to terms with the reality that those days are long gone. It's now just another Texas institution in the history books.

Most miserable, unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at any fast food establishment in my 30 years of life. Manager, I went at 12:15am Tuesday December 23rd. That entire staff should be terminated. Every single one of them contributed to my frustration along with everyone in line. My husband and I both stayed composed despite the chaos they were causing, salad was made incorrectly, no fork, no dressing I asked for and only half my cup filled with the drink I asked for. Husband was so annoyed he didn’t even order. This new Whataburger when down hill FAST and it’s your employees taking it there. Because of tonight, I’m never eating Whataburger again and I guarantee I’m not the only one feeling that way with how they were acting. Just embarrassed for them honestly. Sad because every other Whataburger I’ve been to had some sort of quality and integrity. This one can’t even stand with the rest of them.
