Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    The radio was advertising their new shake so I called to see if it was gluten free and they said they didnt have it so i called again to see when they will get it on and they hung up on me. Not good service

    I had an online order but ended up eating inside, the lady who gave me my food was so sweet and sincere, as I was eating I was approached and asked if I was enjoying my meal and if I needed anything by everything I asked for was already in the bag, the food tasted great and everything was warm and the fries were perfect, would 100% come again

    Ordered curbside. Possibly the worst Experience as this was supposed to be our neighborhood new spot. App said ready at 7:05-7:08pm. Arrived at 7:07pm. 1 car waiting at curbside lot and 2 in drive thru. Lots of standing around inside and employees talking outside. 7:29pm now, I was about to ask for a refund when they finally came outside with my order but watched it go to the wrong car before they finally fixed it. (There’s only 4 curbside spots) DID NOT receive order until 7:30pm. Just terrible.

    The first week opening for any new business has got to be exhausting. I realize it takes time to get everything together and in sync, so I will just say that the burgers while huge were a bit bland. I know and believe everything will get better in time. But to others coming after me just know that everyone is doing their very best. Moreover, I will say that it did take 20 plus minutes to get thru the line even with staff outside taking orders. I did note that the car behind me received their order at the window while I was made to pull forward and wait at the curb for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, so I do think that this needs to be addressed. Nonetheless, I believe everything will sync in time.

    This place is not ready to be opened yet. The volume on the ordering drive thru menu is set way too low. The people who work there need to be trained more on how to take an order. I had to say my order 4 times and it was a #1 with ketchup and mustard. I was asked if I wanted to add ketchup. I’ll try next month and update my review (hopefully).
