It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Whomever [older lady] was there tonight had to come out to bring my order. I felt bad when I noticed she was bringing me my food so I pulled up to meet her. She was upset and started lecturing and explaining that she was the only one there and how I need to be at the other window before she could even began fussing, I apologized and apologized once more. She had an attitude the entire time and just kinda shoved the bags at me once I confirmed my orders. Never experienced this until now at this location. Scared to eat my food too, what if she spit in it or something and I'm a kidney patient. Yikes! Waste of money due to an honest mistake on my part.
