  I’ve been here multiple times and I quite enjoy the food! It’s very filling and the atmosphere is delightful. Perhaps a tad bit understaffed but they usually work hard to make up for it the best they can. The mango sticky rice and the soup, salad, and springroll side is my favorite stuff from this place. The soup in that side tastes so yummy imo.

  My favorite Thai place — a true Katy gem ✨ The lunch special comes with soup and a spring roll, plus a large portion every time. I always get the basil fried rice, Thai spicy, extra sauce, egg well-done — chef’s kiss 🤌🏽🔥 I’ve also had the tom yum soup, which is so flavorful, and they definitely do not skimp on the vegetables or protein. The wonton soup with shrimp is another favorite of mine. I honestly couldn’t give this place higher praise — they are phenomenal. I’ve never dined in, but every time I get takeout they are so kind and welcoming. The guests dining in always seem to be enjoying themselves, and the food on the tables always looks amazing. Highly recommend! 🍜💛

  Pretty good thai food with an even better lunch special. It really is a steal fr. It came with some soup and a spring roll which were both great, and I chose the Red Curry with Chicken as the main which was a good size for lunch, had a ton of flavor, and lots of pieces of chicken and veggies inside! Also tried the Cheese Rolls which were tasty but the sweet and sour sauce was extra good here mmmm. Have to top it all off with a thai tea which was standard but in the good way!

  My dad discovered this place a few years ago. So every time I’d come down to Katy to visit him, this restaurant was always on our list. Now that I’m married, my husband loves this place as well. So every time we find ourselves in the area, we try to take advantage of going to Urban Thai. This is by far my favorite Thai food spot in the Houston metro. Food is always fresh, delicious and full of flavor. The owner and his wife are also so nice and accommodating. I highly highly recommend trying this place out.

  Great lunch spot! Stopped by Urban Thai for their lunch special and ordered the green curry—everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced, and the portion was just right. It was a satisfying and comforting meal, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend for a tasty Thai lunch! 🍛✨
