I recently visited The Toasted Yolk, and while I really enjoyed the inviting atmosphere, the rest of the experience was unfortunately disappointing. The food arrived cold, which took away from dishes that might’ve been great otherwise. The service also left a lot to be desired which was slow, inattentive, and not particularly friendly.
Overall, despite the pleasant ambiance, I walked away feeling let down. I hope they can improve, because the place has potential, but this visit definitely missed the mark.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I asked no onion and they put it, oh well no biggie, oh wait other than every table being dirty, zero customer service, “manager” Pablo is as rude as they come, when he finally noticed I was not eating my food he stated it was my fault not the kitchens, trash
We showed up with 4 of us. The young lady greeted up with a smile as we walked in. Server Alex, took his time to explain the food. We had an amazing omelet that we put together using veggies and egg whites, Rueben, shrimp and grits(the best), and a club sandwich. Food came out fairly quick. Food was really good. Pablo came by to check on our meal which seem passionate about what he does. We will definitely be back. Good food, good service, nice lively atmosphere.

i went to eat with my family before leave to work, we arrived at 9:50, took not so long to get us sit(let’s say 10 min), but the service was awful, we order some OGs and coffee, took 10 min to arrived and the OG was warm and the coffee cold, we ordered and at 10:50 we ask the server “it’s been more than half hour” and his response was “trust me it has been 10 min not 30” we just told him to cancel everything and bring the check of the drinks, we follow him inside and then he went to the kitchen window and brought our food saying “it’s ready are you sure you don’t want it?” and guess what, it look cold, if like it was just sitting in the window. At the end he just said “don’t worry about the drinks just leave”, awful experience and i do not recommend this place, 0/100

My wife and I were hungry and ready for a great breakfast. This did not happen though. My wife ordered an omelette and the mushrooms were sour. We eat a lot of mushrooms and these were bad taste and texture. These were beyond “not fresh “, these were spoiled. The omelette was inedible. She never got her GF toast.
I had to ask for sugar, salt/pepper, etc. That did eventually arrive.
I ordered extra crispy bacon and it was limp and practically raw on the bottom side.
We told the waiter, about these issues plus asked for a refill on coffee and tea.
At that point we were abandoned. The waiter never returned with coffee, tea, toast, or bacon. We went inside and asked for the manager. He hurriedly listened and offered to comp the omelette since it was inedible. He gave me a small discount on the bacon not being right. He never asked if he could get us food cooked correctly. He just planned on getting us out of there and brought our drink refills to go. He brought the check and I was ready to pay with card in hand. He dashed off and it was a long delay before we ever saw our waiter. He finally took the payment and when he brought it back said we could leave the ticket on the table.
We left and noted that we had patiently waited and total time for this breakfast was 1 hour and 50 minutes. We arrived at 9:20am on 10/28/2025. Not a busy time on a Tuesday morning. There were plenty of tables available. We were the only guests sitting outside. The cheese grits were good. Everything else was mediocre. I love the convenience , but am not willing to go back to this location again. They seem to be struggling on so many levels and since they are not the only breakfast option around, I won’t be back.
