  I had an excellent experience at Saltgrass Steak House in Katy. The service was outstanding from start to finish—attentive, friendly, and professional. I also want to give a special thank you to Rachel for going above and beyond by turning in my lost wallet. Her honesty and kindness truly meant a lot to me and speaks volumes about the character of the staff here. Great food, great service, and genuinely great people. I’ll definitely be back!

  The second time I visit this location. The waiting time was less than a minute. Prior to this visit, it was over 45 minutes wait, not this time. The fire place was really cozy and the table service was excellent. The food was on point with the steak and flavor. The manager came over to check. The restroom was very clean and overall everything felt and seemed cleaned. I am definitely coming back.

  My wife and I just left the Saltgrass Steak House in Katy, TX. We ordered a fried mozzarella appetizer, but it didn't arrive on time. Will, our waiter, served us our soups and main courses. When I pointed out to Will that the appetizer hadn't arrived, he checked with the kitchen and said he would bring it to our table shortly, and he apologized. A few minutes later, the manager, Frank, came to our table, offered a sincere apology, and emphasized that he would make sure our appetizer was ready as soon as possible. And it was, but not only that, Frank came back to our table to tell us that the appetizer was on the house. This is what I call customer obsession! My wife and I were delighted with this display of exceptional customer service. Needless to say, the dinner was delicious! Thank you, Frank and Will, for the outstanding service.

  Wow, this place is going down fast. We frequently do family birthdays and special occasions here. We were a table of 8 people, and while our waiter was friendly, he kept missing items and requests. He couldn't seem to pry himself away from the waitress station. He finally noticed we needed drink refills about 10min after I had paid the bill and we were boxing up our leftovers. Now, if you think the service was lackluster, wait till you read about the service. Not one single entree was worth the price. Three steaks were overcooked, and tough like shoe leather. Shrimp was overcooked and cold when it arrived. Mash potatoes were cold. Appetizers we actually quite good. My chicken fried steak was pure gristle. Amazingly, our water completely failed to notice that nobody was eating their entree. We boxed them up and took them home.

  My girlfriend was working a shift at the Saltgrass Steak House on Katy Freeway when a customer walked up and kissed her on the cheek without consent. She reported it immediately. Management did NOTHING. Instead of protecting their employee, they pressured her to keep working and downplayed the assault. When I showed up demanding answers, the manager Greg still refused to document the incident, refused to remove or ban the man responsible, and acted like it was no big deal. So I started warning customers walking in and out—because if management won’t protect their own staff from harassment, people deserve to know what kind of environment they’re walking into. The response? Greg told me to leave the restaurant and threatened to call the police rather than address the actual problem. Saltgrass should be ashamed. Employees aren’t disposable. If a customer assaults someone, that should NEVER be ignored. We’re speaking up because this can’t happen to someone else. Vid is on my ig@kgfromarareplace
