There was no greeting, no acknowledgment, and no customer service to speak of. The scale not working is understandable — equipment issues happen — but standing around chatting with another employee instead of focusing on customers is not. When I spoke about the items that needed weighing, I was ignored. When I was handed my receipt, there wasn’t even a basic “thank you.” That is the bare minimum. After my husband spoke with a supervisor, I later overheard the cashier saying he “knew exactly who she was talking about.” The conversation abruptly ended when I walked by. If employees are more concerned about identifying who complained than correcting their behavior, that speaks volumes about the culture. I’ve shopped here many times, and this was the first time I felt completely disregarded as a customer. Do better.

Perhaps not all the brands you're used to at HEB but plenty to choose from at very affordable prices. And their Produce section, 10 ⭐️'s. One last mention, their shelves stayed stocked with water, TP, and everything you needed right up to the freeze and through!
