Its an "experience" not just a grocery store. I would be remissed to not let management know about the cashier I encountered last night. Alexa, who was on her cell phone on speaker. Annoyed visibly with the customer ahead of me. Expressing her annoyance to the person on phone! I understood her exasperation of having to wait to ring up my 4 items until the bagger got the other ladies items off the counter, however, she could have acknowledged me or scanned and bagged my 4 items or just been a decent human to all of us. I am just letting you know as this young lady does not fit your culture and the expectations the rest of your staff joyfully exudes. I can't speak for the bagger, but his body language did seem embarrassed and he was very kind as he wished me a good evening. Again, she's the only negative or bad experience I've ever had in 30 years of HEB shopping.

I had the pleasure of meeting the wine manager, who was knowledgeable, passionate, and an absolute joy to talk to — truly a standout in customer service. I also had the opportunity to participate in a wine tasting featuring Silk Road Wines, and it was a fantastic experience. The wines were exceptional — beautifully balanced, flavorful, and very well received by everyone who tried them. It was exciting to host a demo in such a supportive and engaging environment, and I genuinely appreciated how interested and enthusiastic the team and customers were. Overall, this HEB visit was nothing short of five stars. I left with great impressions, new connections, and a real sense of community. Highly recommend stopping by — and definitely try the Silk Road Wines if you get the chance!
