I was shopping with my three young children, aged 11, 5, and 2. While in the toy aisle, each child selected an item. As we proceeded towards the checkout, standing near the cash registers, my two-year-old became restless, and I opened the Spider-Man toy he had chosen to soothe him. At this point, a female employee, whose name I was unable to ascertain, approached my family and began taking photographs of me and my children without our consent. I immediately questioned her actions, stating clearly that I did not authorize the photography of my children and asked her to cease. She responded by saying it was "for the number." I reiterated my demand for her to delete any pictures taken and to stop photographing my children. She then walked away without further engagement. Upon reaching the cash register, I requested to speak with a supervisor and recounted the entire incident, emphasizing my concern about the unauthorized photographs of my children. I explicitly asked that the employee be instructed to delete these images. I want to stress that at no point was I attempting to leave the store without paying; I was standing directly in front of the registers, prepared to complete my purchase. This incident has left me feeling profoundly upset and discriminated against. To be subjected to such treatment, particularly in the presence of my innocent children, and to feel as though I was being racially profiled or wrongly accused of theft while in the process of paying, is utterly unacceptable. H-E-B has always been a preferred grocery store for me due to its convenience and my previously positive experiences. I reside close to your store and have always valued it as a community resource. However, this visit has severely tarnished my perception and left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I urge you to conduct a thorough and immediate investigation into this matter. I also request confirmation that the photographs taken by the employee have been promptly and permanently deleted. Such behavior from an employee is inappropriate and warrants serious attention. I believe that appropriate action, whether disciplinary or through additional training, should be taken to ensure no other customer experiences such a distressing situation. I am a loyal customer and certainly not a thief, and I expect a respectful and secure shopping environment for my family.

Quality of produce and meat market had declined at this location and I’ve watched it happen for a couple of years now. The price of meat is ridiculous and I get it but the quality of cuts is sad. It looks like they cut a lot of meat with a dull knife and it’s torn most of the time. On top of it half of the cuts are uneven and we all know how that cooks. Heb bacon has had paper thin slices in the thick bacon bags almost every single time and they count that as a whole slice which feels like robbery. The fresh made tortillas consistently have 6 unusual-able tortillas out of a bag of 10. Produce shelf life has been awful and even today all of the lettuce is browning and you expect customers to buy it. Yall used to be the king but have been nothing but a disappointment lately
