I think that the store was deliberately designed this way. The aisles are extremely long with no middle partition and go in the opposite direction of the usual layout. The aisles are so long that it's relatively impossible to guess whether or not what you're looking for is there or not.... even though the signs offer clues. There isn't 'flow' to the store nor is it laid out logically or similarly to other HEB's at all. Again, great for the person who wants to get their steps in and also the person who enjoys spending a long time in the grocery store. For the rest of us, there are plenty of other choices.

You usually can find cooking demos and tastings scattered through the store. My issue with HEB is the parking lot is always packed, and their prices are usually higher.
