Michelle and I dragged ourselves into our favorite Carrabba’s tonight just hoping for a decent meal and a quiet corner to decompress. The place was buzzing, smelled incredible the second we walked in, and the host team was friendly as always. Then we met Herman — and that’s when the night shifted gears. This guy is the definition of how it should be done. Not loud, not fake, not rushing us, not hovering. Just a genuinely pleasant, grounded human being who clearly takes pride in doing his job well. The kind of person you feel lucky to cross paths with at the end of a long day. He read the room perfectly. We never waited for anything. Drinks stayed full, timing was on point, and he somehow managed to make the whole experience feel easy and unrushed even though the restaurant was packed. Carrabba’s should be proud to have Herman wearing their name tag. People like him make you come back — not just the food. Outstanding service from an outstanding guy.
