Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
New location. Store Is very clean, but is suffering from poor workflow management. This place is slow even for Whataburger. Self checkout didn’t improve the ordering process. We felt like they forgot our order. The drive thru service to dine-in ratio was not balance as they were serving at least 5 -1 drive thru orders

I know this place has just opened up, but I lived down the road from it and every time I’ve been here my order has been messed up and not simple things like order completely wrong every time and with very rude disrespectful staff.

This Whataburger ain't gonna make it. Takes way too long to get a cold burger, cold fries, and a soda that the lid isn't on properly. Can we all say the employees don't give a crap about their job or the customer. I've gone there all times of the day and night and gotten the same results. Poor management, probably because a good manager is out of their price range. Good luck with this place Joshua.

My suggestion is to be sure to come when. It’s busy, otherwise you will not have a fresh burger or fries. My patty had obviously been sitting on the side of the grill for at least 30 minutes. Maybe more. The sides were dry and hard to eat. The middle was also quite dry. On top of that the fries were stale and room temp. (This was a Sunday a little before noon). I used to work at WB back in the day and Inknow this is unacceptable. I came home and made some popcorn.
The footprint of the store is quite small. Perhaps they anticipate mainly driver through service…not sure.
At any rate, take the time and drive down to the Burleson location. Have never had a bad patty there and the fries are always fresh.

I have never seen a whataburger worker sound so positive! I also work in the food industry, so i understand when employees don’t sound over joyed to be there, really I get it completely. However, the employee on the drive thru on Oct 22nd Wednesday night made me feel very welcomed and helped me through ordering my burger and making changes to it!
The food is definitely some of the better whataburger I’ve had, I don’t usually get burgers but it was pretty good!
Would definitely recommend this location versus the burleson or cleburne ones. Also, the wait times at other locations always are so long, which once again I do understand honestly, but this one was pretty quick especially since I made changes to the normal burger! Will be coming here again!!!
