Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I’ve lived here for about 2 years and every time I come here they are rude hit my breaking point just know.. I moved my little brother that has autism down here last week so he can be closer to me long story short he has a hard time with things sometimes he was confused about something and lady straight up said “are you going to order or not I ain’t got time for games” very rude made him very upset 0 out of 10 do not recommend this place I have filed a complaint with corporate “I’m not a Karen just a over protective brother and sometimes people need to be held responsible”

This evening I placed an order that included a chicken tender box meal with a milkshake, a Whatachicken meal with a milkshake, a Whataburger Jr., and an additional milkshake. Instead, I received an entirely incorrect order (a different burger and two wraps).
Mistakes happen, so I went inside to have it corrected. Unfortunately, that’s where the experience went downhill.
I was met with poor customer service, confusion, and a lack of urgency. One employee approached me, asked a question, and then walked away while I was still speaking. Other staff members openly said they “weren’t doing this,” and there was no clear ownership of resolving the issue. I was also not the only customer dealing with an incorrect order.
Despite having around 7 employees working (plus a manager), the team moved at a glacial pace and appeared disorganized. The manager was the only one who showed professionalism and attempted to resolve the situation, which I appreciated—but the overall environment was chaotic and frustrating.
When I finally received the corrected order, one of the sandwiches had visibly wilted lettuce and, shockingly, a sticker stuck to both the bun and the lettuce.
As someone who has experienced fast-paced, high-standard service, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I would strongly recommend visiting another location—or even the nearby McDonald’s—for faster service and significantly better customer care.

Customer service sucks this store. They are also nasty. I visibly watched a representative Rashawntae S handle food & work cash register with same gloves on.
Very nasty attitude when addressed the issue.

Typical tasty Whataburger. The floor was a little slick. The staff were very friendly.

Our visit this morning was absolutely disgusting. The manager was out of control with her staff. Not sure how they work in that environment. My dad's coffee was cold when recieved. He asked to have it warmed...the managers response: we are too busy to worry about cold coffee. This is the third time to experience her horrible attitude. We put a big red X on this location, which means we will NEVER return.
