Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Multiple reviews highlighted poor service, including rude staff, long wait times, and incorrect orders.
Food Quality
While many customers praised the food, there were complaints about cold or improperly cooked items, as well as concerns about the value for money.
Staff Friendliness
Several reviews noted friendly and helpful staff, with some customers expressing appreciation for specific employees.
Cleanliness
Feedback on cleanliness was mixed, with some praising the restrooms while others pointed out areas needing improvement.

4 of the 5 people standing behind the counter have cell phones in their hands . Casheer has back turned ato guests while texting. Cook has phone. Very gross.
Ordered online for dine in. They gave me the food in a bag then rolled her eyes at me when I told her it was for dine in and never offered condiments requiring me to go back up to the counter to be ignored for 5 minutes while I wait to ask for ketchup now everyone is huddled up in the corner of the dining room having a good old time sharing reels .. since arrival I was met with rude stares. Eye rolling. And bad attitudes especially by the lady that helped me. I couldn't help to feel it was racially movitated like I felt like I wasn't welcome there at all as other customers with other skin tones were treated well and I witnessed the opposite of others if you know what I mean.
Terrable .

They keep shrinking the burger they gonna have change the name to WheresTheBurger or NotABurger.
I had a moment of weakness and forgot about the micro meat they serve now, and visited again.
The price sure isn't micro though.
