At first, I honestly thought this was just another North Indian restaurant. But since the Chicken Dum Biryani was on offer, I decided to give it a try… and wow! It completely surprised me. The aroma, the perfectly cooked rice, the flavorful masala, the tender chicken it truly felt like authentic Hyderabadi biryani.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered two Chicken Dum Biryanis, and both had a strong unpleasant smell and were not edible. The salan also smelled bad. In addition, I had to wait 20 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time. This raised serious concerns about food quality and freshness. I hope the restaurant improves its food safety and service standards.

I ordered takeout (Paneer Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken) from India X. Unfortunately, I found chicken pieces mixed in the Paneer Tikka Masala. Mixing non-veg in a vegetarian dish is completely unacceptable. When I went back to inform them, I wasn’t asking for a refund — just a credit — but the owner said I needed to bring the full curry back and questioned whether I had mixed it myself. I understand businesses deal with dishonest customers, but I felt my genuine concern wasn’t taken seriously. Very disappointed with both the food handling and customer service. I won’t be returning. ------------------------------------------------------------------- I see below what restaurant responded but owner told me that she does not trust if I have mixed it!

Totally in love with this place! ❤️ We ordered the Guthi Vankaya Biryani and Chicken dum Biryani, and it tasted exactly like authentic Hyderabadi biryani, just like home. The flavors and aroma were absolutely spot on. The vibe of the place is warm and welcoming, with a clean, cozy ambiance that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Hands down, the best Hyderabadi biryani I’ve had in Texas so far. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Hyderabad-style biryani!

Last time I ordered chicken dum biryani from Indiax, it tasted like plain ginger–garlic flavoured rice with chicken somewhere lost in between. I thought maybe just one bad day and gave them another chance today. Today I tried Guntur pulav. First, I had to wait almost 30 minutes for the order. After coming home and opening it with excitement, I realised the rice is actually undercooked. I can literally see and feel raw rice grains in the pulav. These are very basic things for any chef or even QC person to check before sending out an order. Cooking rice properly is not a five-star skill, it’s the minimum expectation. Customers are paying for food, not for kitchen experiments. Honestly, at this point it feels like consistency is missing completely. Hope the management takes this seriously and improves, otherwise it’s becoming difficult to trust the food quality here.
